4 routines to help you stay intentional with your time and energy:

1. Morning routine

•this routine will help you set up your day to feel energized, take ownership, and to be mindful of all the tasks that need to get done for the day

2. Night Routine

•having a nighttime routine allows you to wind down from your day. to be able to close out any and all tasks, finalize loose ends, and be able to prepare for a restful nights sleep and know you are done for the day

3. Weekly Routine

•allows for an overview of the tasks that need to be accomplished. this routine sets up your week to know what needs to be done each day and won’t allow for tasks to slip through

4. Monthly Check-In

•this check-in will allow for you to see the progress toward monthly goals. check-ins are good check points for you to make sure you are on track for the tasks that need to be accomplished for the goal to be checked off

routines are essential in accomplishing goals, tasks, and creating habits that are intentional to help you successfully distribute your time and energy to what truly matters for you🤍🎉

It’s November 1st🤍

I know I am one to start getting into the holiday spirit once November hits! It’s just the best time of the year and with all this going on we all need something to life our spirits and this time of the year is the time to do it

We won’t start decorating until the day after thanksgiving but I always start watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music🤍

We have a Launch coming up!

I’m super excited about it and it’s all things fall🍂
our stickers coming out are all vinyl weatherproof with water-resistant laminate to give stickers a 3-4 year minimum outdoor life.
the cozy vibes will only be around for a limited time only so these stickers once they are gone they are gone for good🎃🤍

Tip Tuesday is a little late today but all about failing forward.

⋒ failure is going to happen, it’s inevitable but most of the failures compounded will result in successes long term.

the term “fail forward” is something I have learned over many years to use the failure to
⋒ get back up again
⋒ learn from it
⋒ know it isn’t a forever feeling
⋒ it is something that we should embrace

in the moment I know it’s hard to think of these because emotions can run high but remember that the biggest successes are cultivated through the failures we experience and our ability to take them and learn from them🤍✨

so I know I haven’t explained on here but wanted to share why I created my brand .g.designs

growing up and even still to this day I loved planners, design, organizational tools for school, work, planning out my days and weeks, crossing off boxes (it was so satisfying to cross off tasks, hw, etc off a list when it was done)

so having been an avid user of planners, I always had multiple because there was never one planner that fit or suited all my needs all in one.

so I have in the last 6 months, taken a course, learned, created, and executed! I have digital planning products, digital planning tools, and have created stickers that I design! All products that I’m a proud user of!

I created this brand to elevate planning, organization, and productivity.

⋒ to help the teacher that is virtual teaching,
⋒ to help the person who wants to take control back in their life,
⋒ to help someone who wants to organize their life but doesn’t know where to start,
⋒ to help everyone feel productive day in and day out without loosing their sanity especially now in this day and age.

I want to create a community here where we can share love, trials, triumph, purpose, intentions, goals, ideas, support!

that’s my goal here for .g.designs
(And to also one day have a paper planners & paper productivity tools that you can buy )

I hope this gives you a little insight into why I started this brand and the intention behind it!

Here’s another
Productivity tip tuesday!

3 ways to be intentional with your work time:

1️⃣ Knock out 3 Targets for the Day

⋒ the earlier you get the main things done, the more you set yourself up for being more productive and intentional with the remainder of the time for you day.

⋒ You are more productive earlier in the day (more rested) versus the afternoon time where you need that pick me up

2️⃣ Create Phone Boundaries

This is an important one because on average we swipe, click, tap, & check our phone 96 times a day (once about every 10 min) that’s crazy! How are you going to get anything done?

Well if you set boundaries and create discipline for yourself you allow yourself more productivity time.

⋒turning off social, text, email notifications during your work day
⋒only checking emails during specific times in your day (no more than 2-3 times per day)
⋒ putting your phone out of reach so there’s no temptation to check

And finally,

3️⃣ Have a Game Plan

Friday’s & Sunday’s are the best days to set your upcoming week up so you don’t have to figure out what to do each day.

⋒ planning your 3 target tasks for each day that are of high priority and will move you forward ahead of time makes a big difference

⋒writing out the 3 main goals that need to get done during the week to accomplish big monthly goals helps strategize tasks

⋒check on your progress towards your monthly goals to see what needs to be adjusted or changed

This way come Monday morning I am not scrambling trying to figure out what I need to do. It is clearly laid out for me to get going!

Productivity Tip Tuesday✨

I have 3 tips for you that help aid in cultivating success!

1️⃣ Consistency
Whatever you are doing, trying to achieve you have to be consistent with it. Everyday working on it. Doing small actions that will help propel you forward each and everyday will always lead you forward!

2️⃣ Time
Allow yourself to take time. Be patient in the pursuit of your goals. Nothing easy came overnight. There will be much blood, sweat, & tears shed but it will be worth it if you don’t give up and allow time to reveal itself to you.

3️⃣Goal Setting/ Planning
These two go hand in hand. Plan out your goals. Allow the plan to be flexible. No plan can be set in stone because life will always throw you curve balls. Planning is a guide. Goal setting is the map. Setting small daily attainable goals that are just small action steps to drive you forward is all you need. Small action/goals compound in the long run!

It’s a brand new month as well as the last quarter of 2020!

I can’t believe how fast this year has gone but we keep moving forward and live your best life possible!

so for the start of this brand new month I have 5 productivity tips for you!

1️⃣ Set yourself up for success by creating your monthly goals you want to accomplish. Write out 2-3 monthly goals that move you forward in your career, health and wellness, your life, etc!

2️⃣ Set your 3 top action steps that will get you to achieve those goals. 3 main action steps that are intentional, attainable daily, and will help chip away at attaining those goals.

3️⃣Reflect on the previous month(s)
Let yourself see how far you have come and where you’re headed. Writing down the things that you have accomplished allows you to see your progress, giving you a sense of clarity!

4️⃣ Draft a schedule for yourself
Scheduling and planning out helps set you up for knowing what’s to come, allowing you to give yourself a plan of action and pathway to success. Allow your schedule to be flexible because life happens, plan but leave room for extras/errors. Things can always be rearranged and that’s ok.

Scheduling is just a guide, not set in stone✨

5️⃣Create a monthly affirmation for yourself and practice writing down 3 acts of gratitude daily

Allow yourself to see it daily and allow it to inspire you. To set yourself up for the day with intention, gratitude, and love in your heart. When you practice this daily you open yourself up to more joy in your life.

Not to say we won’t all have a bad day but practicing gratitude and affirmations daily will allow for those days to be more few and far between!

Bonus tip:
•move your body for 30 min everyday

You will notice changes in your mood, emotions, and mental state. Exercising increases endorphins and allows you to feel good when it’s all done. Listen to good music and find a space that is your own!

I realized that I don’t have the best printer for my stickers so we have these new stickers and revamping the old ones.

today is world day against trafficking in persons.

why is this important?

•living freely should be a basic human right

•the US is the number one consumer and producer for victims

•600,000-800,000 people get trafficked and go missing yearly (this is insane)

•a trafficked child is sold for s*x an average of 15 times a day

this is tough info to hear, I was taken back. we are blind to this because we are not told what is going on.

I will be honest and before I started researching I thought this is only going on in other 3rd world countries but unfortunately it is happening right here in our backyards.
