We are so excited for Writing For Representation LLC new book, Blaire's Battle With Anxiety which launched today! The second book from author Karley Henderson which discusses childhood anxiety. Anxiety impacts 1:8 kiddos, yet books on childhood mental health are not so far reaching, we love that she addresses this topic in a thoughtful supportive way, like a friend holding your hand through tough moments to be sure you don't feel alone in what you're going through. Along the way Blaire (main character) provides the reader with ways to gain new skills for how to navigate anxious feelings when they arise.

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to dream, to want, to desire more for your life?

So often we shut down this part of us because it feels like such a far off reality than our present struggles and circumstances. However it’s important to acknowledge this question because Your body is knowledgeable and always pointing you to equilibrium and harmony- so trust whatever the answer is because your body is speaking to you to support you best physical and emotional health.

Today is that moment- if it doesn’t. Feel safe to fully lean in to this question- take one minute and share whatever comes to mind!

Tomorrow is a special day here!
Know why?
turns 1 year old.
When I first started designing this platform these words came to my heart “your journey in motherhood represented”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They have meant so much to me because I hadn’t seen my journey in motherhood shown before across mainstream brands and platforms and I so craved not feeling isolated and alone.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The vision for momme came from that statement “your journey in motherhood represented” and since then I have loved having one space to call our own that’s here to support your everyday journey as momme… but I also know that one space while phenomenal is not the mainstream inclusion we need to shift societies perspective of disabilities.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which is why I created designed by inclusion, an 8 week brand experience for brands, entrepreneurs and organizations to make disability inclusion their brand standard!

I want mainstream inclusion that normalizes our experiences raising kids with disabilities.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I want mainstream inclusion that shows the world the vast personalities of our kids beckons the medical perspective that’s stereotyped to their diagnosis.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As we continue to grow momme- you better believe we will be leading others to the standard of inclusion so that everywhere you go you can feel embraced, supported and seen!
