July 1st, been on a quick social media hiatus bc I’ve been working on myself. Physically I’m down 30lbs which means I’m back on my health routine as I was pre pandemic.

I think a lot of people just don’t want to talk about it now that it’s been almost half a decade since 2020 happened but I think it’s important to understand and process the past without it also controlling your present and future.

For me 2019 was full of some bad but mostly good events in my life that were change for the better. Unfortunately 2020 put a stop to a lot of the progress as well as a lot of open door opportunities that if the lockdown didn’t happen would have excelled a majority of things I was working on accomplishing that year. But it did happen and those opportunities were lost as well as some mental health due to isolation for that year.

But since May, I’ve made some pretty big strides on not just getting back to that place mentality but also physically. I’m happy to report that I’m gonna be attempting to revive my content bigger and better this month and it’ll only excel up from here again. Big hugs till ya fart to the ones who have been sticking around patiently for me to get better

Off of that. This video was about checking creators and celebrities entitlement. Not everyone will have my same mindset on social issues or support , but if you’re trying to play “all sides” when it comes to viewer and follower retention, I think it’s a losing battle because it always come back around and when you get called out and you keep trying to appease everyone, you end up losing an audience that can strengthen you community, and continue to perform to an audience that won’t back you with the same support.

Origin story:
Back in 2010 I made cartoon caricatures and did graphic design under Pillow Suit Graphics. That’s how the name Mr. Pillow Suit came to be. When people introduced to potential new clients they would say “yeah this is the Mr. Pillow Suit guy” aaaand just kinda stuck. Name was unique, motto was “comfortably professional” . That said this was a self portrait cartoon caricature I did of myself for the portfolio 12 years ago. What a trip to think that I went from drawer of cartoons to being a real life cartoon in my Gooberverse videos. I mean even the eyes look the same 🤣.

Any other recovering people pleasers out there? There are a handful of people that i give my attention to.
