Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, fiancée Lauren and her children embarked on a family vacation to Japan to see the cherry blossoms for the first time. It was a total cultural immersion for the couple exploring ancient temples, experiencing Tokyo spring and making serene leisure walks in the city. Lauren tried her hand at Shodo (Japanese calligraphy) and Jeff explored early morning meditation with the locals including eating sushi on a conveyor belt. The family also mingled with other Hanami revellers. “Japan, you’ve stolen our hearts,” says Lauren of their family trip. “It felt like living a dream we never wanted to wake up from. We’re already dreaming of coming back.”
