Hey guys 🙌
This week we talk about the death of romance within the 21st century. We connect it to the Turkish movies we used to watch growing up as a kid in Melbourne, Australia.

We fantasised about marrying the popular actors of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s like and . Or the Hollywood actors like or .
However, life and love was not like it was portrayed in the movies and we unpack this in this episode.
We make reference to this beautiful Turkish movie called in which romance and love are illustrated completely differently to the typical Turkish movies at that time.
We had so much fun recording this episode. Tune in on Sunday and let us know your views on romance within the 21st century.

26/08/2021

Hey guys
In this weeks episode we talk about analysing our childhood. One of our favourite Turkish poets is and we just wanted to share this beautiful piece from him called:

‘Let's Give the World to the Children’

Let's give the world to the children just for one day
like a balloon in bright and striking colours to play with
let them play singing among the stars
let's give the world to the children
like a huge apple like a warm loaf of bread
at least for one day let them have enough
let's give the world to the children
at least for one day let the world learn friendship
children will get the world from our hands
they'll plant immortal trees…

We hope you enjoyed that 🙌
Lots of love

18/08/2021

As we navigate this thing called “Life”, we learn that Life is difficult. We must accept this philosophy in order to gain freedom from difficulty, from suffering.

During these tough times, we thought it was timely to discuss loss and grief. This week we delve into the 5 Stages of Grief. This concept was analysed in great detail by Dr Elizabeth Kubler-Ross in the 1960. The stages have evolved since, they are a great framework and are responses to loss that many people have, but there is not a typical response to loss as there is no typical loss.

We unpack the five stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with the one we lost. They are tools to help us frame and identify what we may be feeling. But they are not stops on some linear timeline in grief. We discuss the various paths that grief may take and hope that you, our audience can gain knowledge of grief ‘s terrain, making us better equipped to cope with life and loss.

Please tune in to this week’s unpack and we hope you engage and enjoy this episode.

As always, please leave us your thoughts, comments and what you find as interesting and any A-HA moments.

Isn’t it ironic that we hardly know about the single person we spend the most time with – our own selves.

Sometimes, you may think that you're the exception but the simple answer to this simple question is, well: You're not!.

Ask yourself honestly: How well do I know myself and those around me?

Now, we are not talking about our personalities, character, values or your family tree but rather how your thinking impacts the way you connect or disconnect with others.

On this week's episode, we unpack and delve deeply into a fantastic tool; The T.R.U.S.T.M.E. MODEL. It's a research-based methodology based on decades of research and experience. It helps open the door to having a real conversation with yourself and others

If you're interested in finding out more about; What makes you tick? What makes people disagree with each other? Why do some people change, whereas others don’t? And, just basic inquiry into how people respond to the world around them. Be sure to tune in and listen.

Leave us your thoughts, comments and what you found to be of interest. Is there anything of interest that you would like us to explore further.

Stay humble. Work hard. Be kind.

Hey guys
This week we have a wonderful human on our show Ayman Kaake. Born in Tripoli, Lebanon, Ayman Kaake travelled to Australia in 2011
in pursuit of studying visual arts. A telecommunications engineer and
cinematography graduate, he left behind his parents and eleven
siblings as he set off on his artistic journey. Applying his creative
vision then led to diplomas in photo-imaging and visual arts from
Melbourne Polytechnic.

In 2014, his passion for cinema and photography eventually
developed into a body of digital art works, creating images that delve
into the dreamlike world of personal experiences and emotional
turmoil. Although dealing with moving and serious emotions, Kaake’s works are almost hopeful, and he believes that “sometimes
imagination is better than reality”.
(We agree with him)
Join us this Sunday for this amazing episode. We had heaps of fun and laughs with Ayman we hope you guys do too.

Hey guys
This week we talk to Ahmad Sabra who is a Melbourne artist who identifies as a Lebanese Australian Muslim. His current work tackles the difficult terrain of nationality, loyalty and faith. Through photography Ahmad offers perspectives of his world and the challenges that he encounters on a daily basis in understanding a sense of place. Ahmad’s photography work in Australia is predominantly focused on documenting the Muslim community in Australia which explore the lives of individuals in the Muslim community who identify themselves as Muslims.

In late 2012 Ahmad photographed a documentary in the Gaza Strip; the images were exhibited in two exhibitions. One of the images from the documentary has been selected as a finalist for the National Portrait Gallery Photographic prize. The National Photographic Portrait Prize is an annual event intended to promote the very best in contemporary photographic portraiture by both professional and aspiring Australian photographers..

We really enjoyed talking to Ahmad we hope you do too.

Hi guys,

This week in Episode 27, we revisit Emotional Intelligence and Maturity, but this time we take a deep dive!!

We look at areas in life where external triggers appear the problem to our overreacting behaviour. You know, have you ever considered being able to respond in a responsible manner in any given situation, especially when you are provoked by anger, disappointment, hurt, despair, physical violence and such.

Emotional Maturity is key. This is being able to turn inwards amongst the midst of all the external noise and storm. Being bold enough to take the action that may seem contrary to what the expectations of those urging you on, would be.

Tune in and listen. Please leave us your thoughts and comments, we welcome all your feedback.

06/06/2021

Hi guys,

Never have we needed to give more attention for good, all round holistic health than what is needed during these unprecedented times. Holistic Health is the cornerstone of happiness and joy. It is crucial for a fulfilled life.

When you hear "holistic health," do you think of alternative medicine, naturopathy, or other Eastern-inspired health trends? If so, you're at least partly right.

Holistic health does incorporate complementary therapies that have been scientifically proven to work, and like alternative medicine, it focuses on wellness and prevention, rather than just treating diseases. But holistic care is about more than integrating Eastern and Western medicine. It's a more comprehensive and personalized way of thinking about wellness.

So, what is holistic health care?

In this week’s episode, we take a concept known as the 4 Doctors, created by Paul Chek of the C.H.E.K. Institute and discuss all aspects to provide a clear outline to start living a fulfilled existence.

Please listen, subscribe and provide your feedback.

Stay humble. Work hard. Be kind. Bee and Gxx.
