First read-through of my full length comedy play. A big thank you to my cast. It is always so reassuring to hear the words live off the page. A few tweaks & we will be ready to go. A sharp contrast to hearing on Radio 4’s programme, Front Row; that KPMG are quoting that 43% of writing jobs will be replaced by AI. I am making the most of being able to write a script while it is still a craft.

Calling all intellects! 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)' is here, and aims to perform every single Shakespeare play in just 97 minutes. And it is as incredibly ridiculous and rambunctious as you can imagine.

This uproarious comedy takes the audience on a whiplash-inducing rollercoaster through all of the Bard's magnificent plays, presenting them in a way you never have seen, or even imagined, them before! Wildly funny and with madcap actors running around this stage, this show is not for the weak of heart.

Running at the Corpus Playroom all of next week, get your tickets now from www.adctheatre.com/shakespeare

Come and be entertained by Home-Start’s poet-in-residence Jude Simpson. Jude is a magician of words and poetry and a wonderful supporter of Home-Start. She will be bringing to life some of her new material and will be telling us about her journey as a writer/poet, about the book that she has just ghostwritten and the writing of a school nativity play.

Jude is also asking anyone who attends to bring their favourite piece of poetry along, which they can read out, or Jude will read it out to everyone.

This event is free to attend, but at the end of the evening, we will ask for donations – 50% go to Jude and 50% to Home-Start. Refreshments will be available on arrival.

If you would like to come along text me directly xx
