Who is Ebonie Lee 🤷🏾‍♀️ @ebonie_zouk ? Education: - B.A. in Japanese Language & Literature and a minor in International Studies📚 Profession: - Tech Professional and Dance Teacher💃🏾 Journey: - Ebonie’s desire to explore dance and music of the African diaspora was sparked after practicing in the Nishikawa school of classical Japanese dance. 🇯🇵 - She was introduced to Brazilian Zouk by Adrian 'Atoro' Lopez @atorozouk and was immediately enlivened by the flow, spiraled movement and visual lead/follow dynamic. 🇧🇷 - She’s continued learning Lambada and Brazilian Zouk and co-founded the Brooklyn-based dance school Zoukphoria @zoukphoria with emerging instructors. 💃🏾🗽 - She now resides in Denver and teaches at events nationally.
