If you want your audience to engage with your content, you gotta meet them where they’re at 🤌🏼✨
I’ve talked so much about this idea when it comes to what platforms you should be on and what is the “best time” to post on social but the same idea applies to the type of content you share!
What is your audience coming on social media for? You know I gotta bring up the icons - this is a great example of a team that realized that their audience wasn’t coming to social media (Tiktok, specifically) to learn more about language or the benefits of being multilingual. They were coming to see a constant stream of sh*tposting 🤪
Now, I am not telling you to go full duolingo because, say it with me! 🗣️ just because it works for their brand doesn’t mean it will work for you 🗣️
What I am saying, though, is that we can all learn a valuable lesson from Duolingo. They quite literally make sales by posting videos on TikTok about a green owl who has a crush on Dua Lipa 😶
To wrap it all up with a pretty bow, understanding your audiences media consumption habits as a whole is so important to creating a strategy that hits 🤌🏼
