This week I sat down with Kristina Van Veen, a twenty-something from Toronto, ON Canada. Kristina and I talked about the difficulties of trying to land a job in your early career, and how to remain optimistic when facing setbacks in your professional and personal life.

This weekโ€™s guest is my incredibly talented friend, Danielle Samler. Danielle is currently pursuing her Masters in Ethics, Peace and Human Rights at American University and works as a researcher for several NGOโ€™s (links below).

In her spare time, Danielle is also a published writer and activist, advocating for causes such as womenโ€™s peace and freedom, cybersecurity and nuclear disarmament.

In this episode, Danielle and I discussed the difficulties weโ€™ve faced finding friends after college, and how the portrayal of young adult friend groups, in shows such as ๐‘ญ๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’…๐’” and
