Fan Fiction Illustrated BRAND NEW COMIC STRIPS inspired by the things we love, by fans for fans - and featuring special gues http://www.indiegogo.com/ffidw?a=19014

You've read the amazing Vworp Vworp and its brilliant features, articles and interviews, but if you're anything like us, then you'd like some more strip content and that is where we come in! While FFI has nothing to do with Vworp Vworp, other than the editor adoring it, it would be nice if you were to think of FFI as a supplement to said fanzine's features, etc. with it's primary focus being on ac

tual comic strips - by fans and professional fans alike! Doctor Who is the best thing in the world, but future issues of DW:FFI will also feature stories based on other greats from the Whoniverse! - Rose Tyler is just itching to defend the earth, for instance, and I know that Ace is aching to show what she can do without The Doctor by her side, and whatever did become of Irongron? Well, I'm sure you get the picture - we'll be playing around in the entire Whoniverse like little kids at Christmas, and the hope is that you'll support our efforts like you have supported the efforts of Vworp Vworp. Do let your Who-loving friends know about the project, and post links wherever you can, and let us know if you have a great story to contribute, if you are interested in writing some features, conducting interviews, and so on.

Happy saturday, all you lovely people!

We've closed down the sale of the fanzine for the time being, due to some troubles we've experienced in the shipping department. An awful lot of you guys have reported back to us about not having received your copies, and we've had to send out a rather large amount of replacements and refunds over the course of the fanzines lifespan, so we're sticking a pin in it for the time being while we sort out FFI's future.

As usual, we want to thank you for your kind support so far.

We've only just released the first volume of our publication, and we're already writing the next. A very special project - two co-writers and a wonderful illustrator attached so far... Let's see if this one can make it to fruition without taking six years, eh?

First look! Can you recognize what this is?

And yes, you can still get the first volume at fanfictionmagazine.com!

Dear original backers...

We managed to get a good deal of your books out, from the lower backing tiers from back in the day, last weekend when the editor of the fanzine was in London. But the remainder needed shipment of posters as well as the magazine, which posed a bit of a problem at the time.

However they're about to go out - to all the rest of you, from all over the world. And every single one of these copies are signed by Andrew Cartmel, Pedro Lopez, Matthew Toffolo, Joe Lidster and the editor, Christian Vang.

Some are showing up in a tube, some are showing up in a flat pack envelope. Regardless of which package type you're receiving, please be careful when opening them - they're very, very securely packed to ensure not to be ruined.

That's all of you. 😅

The most patient, most understanding backers a project could have wished for.

All there is to do now, is for me to produce a digital strip for everyone, and the project will be complete, and we can continue on to new and exciting things.

I can't wait to show you guys what we're working on next!

It's an original.

It's an incredibly cool concept.

And it's going to look absolutely amazing!

Lovely words from Danny Lavery, as he pours through his copy of the fanzine. Thanks so much, Danny!

Our Story

Fan Fiction Illustrated is the banner under which we publish ambitious fan fiction in the form of comic strips! The first issue entirely features Doctor Who, however in the future The Doctor will take a back seat in favour of the distant corners of the Whoniverse, as well as leaving room for other creative toy chests and fandoms to get a little love.
