Bandages removed and the vet said that he was so happy with how the surgery turned out that he asked us if he could use Einsteins X-ray pictures to illustrate how to do a correct TPLO surgery🤜🏻🤛🏻 and I said ofcourse Einstein can be a X-ray model for perfect legs 🤪

Surgery recovery day 1 and little man already got his photogenic smile back ❤️ he almost slept trough the night but, but woke Maria up at 5 am with some crying so she gave him some morphine and than he slept till he got woken up at 8am for breakfast and potty before sneaking right back under the covers with me for some morning cuddles 🥰 it’s local time 2pm and he’s still sleeping like a baby and not showing any signs of pain ❤️he’s even been wagging his tail in his sleep 😍 the doctor said it could take up too a week before he starts putting weight on the foot and the sooner he does the more promising for his recovery and he’s already stepping on it ❤️I’m so happy to see that the pain isn’t keeping him up and he’s just tired from the meds❤️thanks for all the support everyone❤️

The vet called and said it was a successful TPLO surgery ❤️ the ACL was not fully torn and he removed all the calcification around his knee cap without any complications. They are going to keep him there under observation for another 4 hours and then we can come pick him up ❤️I’m beyond grateful for all of you helping us make this happen the kindness and love and support you guys have given us is amazing❤️ though it was hard asking for help you convinced me to do it❤️the hours spent creating content of Einstein paid off in the best way possible 🥰

Einstein wanted to do something special for his physical therapist Sandra for helping him recover from his elbow surgery this summer and get ready for knee surgery on Tuesday. So he gave her a framed collage of his favorite memories with her❤️ let’s hope that Sandra won’t need to rehabilitate him for any more surgeries after this🤞🏼
