Most of us search for methods to sustain our youthful appearance, and often find ourselves chasing any and every product and procedure on the market to do so. As we age, we all succumb to laxity, loss of volume, skin tone issues and those damn fine lines and wrinkles. But what REALLY works?

Had a little spontaneous fun today with our pod buddy @randicrawfordcoaching
We decided to walk up to random and amazing women and ask for the real deal with 3 questions:
1) one word to describe social media (not one single answer was the same 🤔)
2) one word to describe themselves (happy led the way)
3) Who they would want to be stuck in an elevator with (most popular answers…wait for it…dogs and husbands. Have we lost our damn minds people?!? OF COURSE it’s the lead in season 1 of @bridgertonnetflix )
Would love your answers!!! Comment or DM us!!!
Yea, we said it. (Please note the comma and period of previous sentence 🤓)
We get the shorthand that has naturally evolved with the prevalence of texting. However, we are simply baffled by the gross lack of respect to the English language we are seeing on posts, e-mails, etc.
If you are over the age of 35, please know that when you don’t use any form of punctuation (there is no such thing as a 50 word sentence), or proper grammar (you’re vs. your, to vs. too, their vs. they’re, etc.), it’s not a good reflection of your command of the written word and intellect.
Those under 35, especially the Gen Z’ers, when we use punctuation it is not an affront to you.
That is all. ✌🏼

Now that we are “free birds,” our fur babies are getting way more attention. On this day in Studio 50, it wasn’t the best idea. 🎙🙅🏼♀️🙅🏻♀️🐶
New Episode Alert 🎙🥂💕
It’s the topic we have been encouraged to discuss by many listeners, as it’s a dilemma we all face as parents. When does our well intended involvement and support become too much?
Guest Dorian Jackson knows a thing or two about this topic, and has become a sought after resource and coach to executives, parents and kids. Dorian, an executive and leadership consultant, is also a former athlete/coach and currently father of two professional athletes (MLB and MLS). While he brings a heavy sports parenting lens, our discussion encapsulates all activities and focus areas of our kids.
We discuss unintended pressure, expectations, unfinished business, along with the added components of social media. We are a society of very involved parents. As such, we’ve all had moments. This episode will challenge you to self reflect and evaluate whether your involvement is healthy, constructive, truly about what’s best for your child and whether it is setting them up for long term success once their sports, activities and academics are finished.

This video is a GREAT precursor to the upcoming week’s topic.
If you were are a 10 X’s 4/5/6, you come from the days when you were left alone to figure out who you were and what you wanted to both do and be. You chose the multiple sports and activities in which you participated. You chose the college or post high school path that worked for you. There were no mobile phones and computers, let alone the beastly pressures that can come along with social media. You were part of a team, club or organization because of friends and fun— not because your parents thought it was your “ticket” or a career path.
Our kids come from a generation where us parent are INVOLVED. But when do our good intentions and support become “too much?” Too much pressure. Unrealistic expectations. Blurred lines between their goals and dreams, and our unfinished business or ideas of what’s best.
Whether a dance mom, sports mom, parent of a highly academically oriented child, when does our involvement become toxic and damaging, and prevent our kids from knowing their true purpose, individual identities and self worth. As we know… school, sports and club success end, and how do we as parent foster healthy relationships both publicly (damn social media) and privately to help our kids navigate?
Video by @tcufootball and @emilyausten Thank you and GO FROGS!
Do you feel we’ve gone too far with the culture of tips and gratuity?
It used to be we would tip for great service at a restaurant, car wash, ride service, delivery, etc. NOW it seems that we are expected to pay 20% just to order in person and online—even being unable to check out without being put on the spot.
Who feels this?

NEW EPISODE ALERT
Spirituality. A word, concept and goal we all use, discuss and seek in our lives. But what does it really mean, and how is it different than traditional religious constructs? Psychic intuition. psychic abilities. psychic mediumship. What does all this mean? Is it real, or just made up "woo woo?" Enter guest Reverend Meg, a ministry leader, spiritual counselor and licensed Psychic Medium, who dives into all of the facets of spirituality and connection with "other side." Reverend Meg answers all the questions that we have, and refers to psychic mediums as "mom intuition times 1000." It's a fascinating bend to our conventional thought process on spiritual growth, and a test to the norm on what's possible in tapping into the unknown spirits who have left us. Reverend Meg is fun, engaging, passionate and an absolutely different mould of the traditional "reverend" we have been brought up to know-- yes, she drops F-bombs! This is Part 1 of a two episode series, which we follow-up with an actual reading on Laurie and Lisa. So...Hello from the other side!
