The so called Markazi Jamia Masjid committee Kupwara consisting of 13 members is all most run by two or three namely Haji farooq chairman,Mohd Ashraf Malik,Ab.Rashid Malik who have highjacked over all controll in their hands,and they for granted that they are only stake holders. Actually the people who donated their land free of cost for the Masjid and for the graveyard located near Jamia Masjid Kupwara main market should have to be the actual members of the Masjid committee while as so called committee have never donated a single rupee for Development of the assets of the Masjid.
It is worth while to mention here that some big un necessarily projects have been taken under ex*****on and huge amount of the public is being misused for generate their personal income that is why they are not intrested to include other members from all the wards of Town kupwara in the committee.The material for these project have been purchased by the committee from the shopkeepers who are nearest relative of head of the committee member and given un due benifit to their relatives.while as committee was to be supposed to call tenderers of the projects which costs near about 45 lacs approximately.
More over the shops are being provided to the people on rent basis and huge comission in lacs is being received by 03 members which clearly indicates that they are working in the awqaf for their personal intrest to built their well sounded financial property which needs to be investigated,same position is of Zayarat shreef kupwara also.
We the inhabitants of sayed abad and inhabitants of the other wards of Town kupwara approached to your gracious self for taking simalar action in this regard ,but due to your engagement in the District programmes, Development activities and other essential assignment our demand has not been redressed so far.
Since the masjid has very huge own financial resources and there is no proper accountability in maintaining of Accounts and the general public have apprehension that the committee is miss using the public exchequer by drawing the amount from the bank illegally. Besides fraude vouchers are also being drawn.Not only this ,but the so called committee deceived the revenue deppt; and executive office Municipal committee to get get fraude khasra No.for repairs/renovation of existing shopping complex of Majis shreef located at main chowk kupwara and instead of repairs/renovation they demolish the building structure and when it has come in to the notice of both the departments that they have fraudulently got the permission, all the papers/orders have been cancelled by both the offices.it clearly indicates the committee is mischievous, fraudulent and behind only for their personal benifit .
As such, it is highly requested to your gracious self that throw investigation in this regard may kindly be
Conducted through crime branch and Audit of the accounts be conducted through team of finance Accounts officers or from chartered accountant .
More over till audit or investigation is conducted the present so called Awqaf committee be desolved and their office be sealed and the accounts of the Masjid committee operated by President of committee in different Banks be seized with all records.However it is requested that committee may a nutral committee be designated till a fresh committee from wards of the town is constituted officially who shall work under proper supervision of a Tehsildar or under any Gazetted officer of the district in order to look after the routine work of the masjid .

It is all set to be the world's highest Railway bridge.'
Noted to be world's highest bridge, the bridge, at a height of 359 metres, is 30 metres higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The construction of the bridge, aimed to provide direct connectivity to the Kashmir Valley, started in 2004.
