Please pray for my oldest grandson Bobby Shisler from Deptford Police Department in New Jersey. He was shot over six weeks ago. Still in critical condition, has had multiple surgeries, lost half of his right leg. He’s 26, & has been a LEO for 4 years. Please pray for him & our family. My son & Bobby's brother are also police officers. May God guide, protect & give wisdom to all police officers. God bless all police officers 🙏🏻

Received a very sad message this morning that K9 Ronda, a Police K9 that served for over 4 years in the Brazilian Border patrol was killed in action on April 12th. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all ♥️🙏 RIP

Union County Sheriff’s Office NC, Mourns the Loss of K-9 “Yago”🐕💙🙏🇺🇸

It is with great sadness that Sheriff Eddie Cathey announces the unexpected passing of UCSO K-9 “Yago” to our community. Yago, an eight-year-old German Shepherd/Malinois mix, passed away late last night surrounded by his handler, Detective K. Robillard, and his dedicated veterinary care team while being treated for several sudden underlying issues including fungal pneumonia. Yago spent his career with the UCSO assigned to Det. Robillard and was a valued member of our Narcotics Eradication Team (N.E.T). Yago’s superior ability to detect narcotics resulted in the arrests of countless narcotics traffickers and the seizure of large quantities of deadly substances, primarily illicit fentanyl. The men and women of the UCSO will continue to pray for and support Det. Robillard during this difficult time. Rest easy Yago, we will take it from here.

Zuka is nine yo Belgian Malinois German Shepherd cross. He’s trained in criminal apprehension and narcotic detection. Zuka has been responsible for numerous arrests in his career. Deputy Region is the Sheriff’s Office's first female dual-purpose K9 handler.

Hermann Missouri Police Department

It is with great joy we announce Hermann Police Officer Adam Sullentrup will be leaving Mercy Hospital and traveling to Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado for continued treatment. Officer Sullentrup is anticipated to depart Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur at 9:30 Tuesday morning and will be es**rted by his family, friends, and local first responders to Spirit of St. Louis located at 18270 Edison Ave., in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Traffic along the route will be impacted. While Officer Sullentrup’s family invites the public to join in this celebration, we ask all bystanders to pull to the shoulder of the road to allow the procession to pass.

We have received several messages from teams who have attended our seminars and have seen the direct result of our scenarios and drills put to actual use on the street. This feedback means the world to us as it has proven to assure teams are effective and in some cases saved the life of k9’s or their handlers! Here is another example from a team who attended our HRD seminar in Charleston recently.

I just wanted to share a canine deployment from today. The small black shepherd and new handler we had at HRD Charleston attempted their first apprehension with a bite today. It was basically the “island” and the drill with civil decoy redirects (ameba maybe?) all rolled into one s**t show and the dog performed well. Basically the dog didn’t have target lock on the suspect when sent so he was doing his own thing while the handler was fighting the suspect. A bystander grabbed the dogs suitcase handle and pointed him towards the handler and suspect. The handler was able to recall the dog while ground fighting and the dog proceeded to grip the suspects leg. The handler was able to cuff the suspect then release the grip. I feel certain that the training we did with you guys directly affected the outcome of todays deployment.
