We want to give girls a positive view of life and help them envision their dreams as possible. This is the reason why our stories are based on real women. ONE FOR ONE - To reach as many kids as possible and distribute donated books, Queen Girls is partnering with local and international organizations who are fighting illiteracy and empowering girls. Often times, classic stories highlight the stren

gth, courage and skills of men. Female characters are often stereotyped or one-dimensional: the mother figure, the homemaker, the exotic beauty, the love seeker...We really believe we should be telling different stories to our children!! Our first story is about Bessie Coleman, the first black woman in the world to receive her pilot’s license. Read to learn how Bessie made her dream come true!

Historias de mujeres reales convertidas en cuentos infantiles! UNO POR UNO - Por cada libro que compres otro será donado a organizaciones que empoderan niñas y luchan contra el analfabetismo. Esta iniciativa surgió para ayudar a las niñas a que vean sus sueños como algo posible, es por ello que esta colección está basada en historias de mujeres reales. A menudo cuentos clásicos resaltan la fuerza, coraje y habilidades de los hombres. Personajes femeninos son frecuentemente estereotipados o uni-dimensionales: la figura madre, la ama de casa la belleza exótica, la buscadora de amor...Creemos de corazón que deberíamos estar contando historias diferentes a nuestros niños.
