Happy Mother’s Day to everyone out there who does “Mothering”

You don’t need to “be” a mother.

It isn’t a status or a state of being. It is a state of mind and expressed in tiny actions - it is the caring for a loving of others ... and that includes modelling self-love and compassion and how to set boundaries

And today can be hard. For those who have lost mothers or not held their babies or have strained relationships with those they mother or that mother them.

Last year we talked about mothering in Episode 4 - this year we will be putting out the SECOND in our 2 part episode around Coming Home.

1. Do we need a dress code?
2. What would happen if there was NO dress code?
3. Is a dress code inherently gendered?
4. Parents and teachers - who is responsible for what?

I think the only conclusion we can agree on is that teachers do NOT get paid enough ... and this s**t is hard ...

It's been a helluva year, right?

We are both so grateful for the support and kindness you have all afforded us this year, as we stumbled through some fu***ng tough conversations.

And there will be more challenges, as there always is.

I had no idea the extent and importance of this issue

When does it get easier? WHEN?!?!? I am sweating before I even do my work out.

F**k you sports bras

And a slightly less violent f**k you to tanks with built in support because at least I get what you are trying to do.

How do people with big b***s do this?!! Mine are teeny and it’s hard - too hard.

Someone needs to solve this problem. This is a problem worthy of a solution.
