Pinterest now prioritizes new fresh content so there is no point going backward and deleting old pins!

Instead, you can archive boards that are no longer relevant.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Better yet work on keywording for low performing boards to see if you can improve them!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I once had a meeting for a position at a company and they told me their entire content plan was MEMES!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While I agree memes can be a great way to get your audience to interact, it's not a be all end all plan for 99% of businesses.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, you may be saying, well Michelle, there are some very successful accounts that ONLY post memes. And that's true!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, if you're not selling something involving those memes, then it doesn't really help your business or blog grow!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I post memes on the page of Travel HerStory sometimes, however, I know it's not going to get me traffic to my blog. It's just a way to occasionally share something funny with my audience!

I know a fair amount of people avoid it unless they are on it for personal reasons. However, it is one of THE best social media platforms out there!

Why? Because it doesn't behave like a social media platform. It's a heck of a lot more like Google than you may think.

Because of its use of Keywords, it behaves like a search platform. Making it essential to businesses and bloggers!

I'll let you in on a secret! 🤫 It is one of THE driving forces for traffic to my blog Travel HerStory!
