From Home Game to Publisher...
As a Dungeon Master, I always found it easier to create my own adventures, monsters, magic items, and NPCs from scratch then trying to memorize information that someone else wrote. And that lead me to quickly becoming a “mechanic” of the game, learning how each mechanic balances with each other. I used these skills to create increasingly more unique experiences for my players, culminating in unique subclasses for their characters. It is when I decided to take on the creation of an entirely new class for 5E that I realized I could combine years worth of content into my first full 5E supplement. I think it’s cool.
