About the Show: While a mysterious blackout leaves a navy stranded near enemy territory, the libidinous Lieutenant Shane Horne puts her very specific talents to use, including with the general’s wife. Meanwhile, a famed Angel sends the Navy’s psychiatrist on an epic quest to save humanity. A subversive, sapphic s*x farce of classically epic proportions, Merry Me is a madcap and mischievous mashup of ancient mythology and restoration comedy—and an ode to female pleasure.

Witness the power of collaboration! The second annual ART+ LGBT History Month came together through the sheer determination of The Studio Door, Lambda Archives of San Diego, San Diego History Center, Mix Luera, Mike Balaban, and the Jeffrey D. Shorn + Charles S. Kaminski Trust. It's vital for the community to unite beyond celebrations, community service, and political stances. Art and history are the very roots of who we are as a diverse community. Join us before the end of the month to experience this important exhibition. Your support through art purchases is critical to keeping the gallery alive with community-powered exhibits and supporting local artists. Find connection!
