The beginning of slavery in the United States began as soon as the New World was found in 1492 by Columbus, establishing centuries of cruel treatment and forced labor. Jean splits this story in 2 parts and this week, dives into Native American’s participation in the early days of the slave trade.

Then, Gummy tells us about Arizona v. Miranda. No, this isn’t a Law and Order episode, but we will read you your Miranda Rights! This one case changed interrogations as they were known and provided important knowledge to civilians about their rights.
