Brewmance is an independently produced documentary about craft beer told through the people who started it all - homebrewers. Over the last 40 years craft beer has defined American culture, and it's one of our proudest exports. Today in Long Beach, California, two sets of accomplished homebrewers are looking to "go pro" and open their own breweries to the world. Together with luminaries Ken Grossm
an (Sierra Nevada), Jim Koch (Sam Adams), Sam Calagione (Dogfish), Vinnie Cilurzo (Russian River), and a host of others, the soul of craft beer is revealed.
So, after a valiant battle, Liberation, in its current incarnation, will cease to exist. A victim of pandemic and an as***le of a landlord, the gents behind Liberation will look to another opportunity for its next existence. 😢
After the April 30 closure, the owners of the brewery hope to keep the brand alive in other forms, including selling bottles at farmers markets and other venues as well as looking for opportunities for a new physical location.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17th we'll be screening the craft beer documentary Brewmance OUTSIDE, under the stars in the parking lot/beer garden of Ten Mile Brewing of Signal Hill.
The film features both Liberation Brewing Co. and Ten Mile Brewing, along with a bunch of really famous craft beer peeps from places like Sierra Nevada, Sam adams beer, Russian River Brewing Company, and Bell's Brewery.
