Be kind to people who have to walk away from family. Some of their stories will never be told because of how complex and painful they are. Estrangement is a necessary path for many who are broken hearted. Less demands for understanding. More respect for what they’ve carried alone.....

People who have not had to choose the best choice from the array of worst choices available to them—will never truly understand. But kindness, care & tenderness can go a long way when responding to those who’ve been forced to walk away from family.....

A walk away still is painful. Ruminating within happens. "Did or didn’t do the right thing? Don’t need those who casually glance to tell how awful it is. The choice made is right because feelings of peace so deservedly and desperately begin slowly and steadily rising within ....."

Forced. It works both ways.
