Ok, hear me out...
I think moving forward CoD should split its developers and have them focus on their own projects. Could possibly make everyone happy. Campaign/Multiplayer - Zombies - Warzone... 3 separate games that don't have to be canon.
Infinity Ward- can make us intense campaigns with depth and memorable characters. Take its time and really push for a long and exciting story. Get inventive with game mechanics and maybe some RPG elements. It will come with a multi-player experience, coinciding with the story, that we OGs use to love. No loot boxes or skins, just good old fashioned challenge based unlocks.
Treyarch- can make a great zombie experience that doesn't have to be held back by a game release. They can have 1 huge main map (Tranzit like with a bus or other transportation to get around the different sections of the giant map) that is free to play like Warzone and then release a new smaller "easter egg" type map every few months that can be purchased and saved into one giant library instead of splitting them between CoD titles. Then they can add micro transactions or whatever for skins and stuff.
Slegehammer- can take over for Warzone and keep up with the seasons and basically stays the same. Maybe add the ability to play older maps in off season game modes.
Raven Software- can assist where needed and maybe even work on bringing back an Extinction mode to add to my fantasy Zombie game and a Blackout mode to add to Warzone.
Let me know what you think or if you would change something and why. ALSO...
