AC Milan just become the Italian Champion.

This was the league table in December 2019. Only 21 pts from 17 games, just got beaten by Atalanta 0-5 at home, at one point they were fighting a relegation battle. A few days later Zlatan Ibrahimovic came, and then Simon Kjaer. Along with them they brought the winning mentality, hard work, and desire that changed their season, and changed their history. With them, Pioli found his way out from the dark pit.

From 21 pts (17 games) they have finished that season in sixth place. And never looked back, as in the next season they finished in second place, first time in many years they were in a title race, in the Champions League spot.

From December 2019 to fast forward 2.5 years, AC Milan is now the Champion of Italy. How did this happen? Nothing short of a miracle. They were playing well for a good 2.5 years. It started with Ibra and Kjaer, and now they have a fantastic squad worthy of dreaming.
Also, credit goes to Maldini, Massaro, Gazidis, and everyone involved. And of course one Stefano Pioli.
