You have freedom of belief.
Let’s question this statement. For anyone weak-minded, I would advice to stop reading at this point, because what comes next, will shaken not only your sociological programming, but also spiritual one as well.
First of all, what does freedom mean. And because words are spells, we should choose spells wisely. From etymological point of view “free” means to be self deciding, not under control of others or other forces, but also “not subject or being affected by something undesired”. And being independent. It also means without cost or payment.
The suffix “-dom” is being used to form nouns, mostly those denoting state, condition, etc. But from Latin, and although english is a germanic language, a lot of english words comes not from Proto-Indo-European part of the roots, but actually from Latin roots, where “dom” - “dominus” means simply master.
Taking into consideration the above explanations, we can already see that path towards freedom demands many sacrifices, including desires. Or a lot of bullsh*tting oneself. But desire is the fuel for manifestation. Those a little advanced on the so called “path of awakening” developed very interesting protecting mechanism - to skip all desires and emotional responses (or at least they think they did). We are being told that those are virtues. But living without desires and emotions is like to be already dead. Even craving for more knowledge is considered to be a blasphemy.
But back to the main topic of freedom of belief. Everyone after birth is placed in society. Different societies, different believes. And the amount of pseudo rules that are sinking into subconscious operational system of a child is tremendous. Those rules are made to serve certain groups. And what the local laws forbid, is most likely what “the elites” are keeping for themselves. As such it is good to begin investigations at those dots. Surely we should be guided by our moral compass and that what we love (love has many faces so be careful), because those are like starting points to begin “matching the dots” to pierce the first layers of the veil.
“Knowledge without wisdom is like water in the sand” (Guinean proverb) or perhaps “witdom” is like doubling the efforts just to understand something we already know and have. Because a wise person is a person that knows well, but the more we know, the more we understand and inner-stand, how much we do not know, so is it truly possible to be wise? Because to know well, means you already stopped to search more, and developed a decent degree of ignorance in the topic. So perhaps this proverb states “Knowledge without ignorance is like water in the sand”. And how many times we observe those ignorants trying to indoctrinate us into their teachings. Taking a grain of truth and building around it one huge lie, just to subordinate and imply blind obedience. And no prison is better then the one, that is invisible for those blind, but is easily “in (within) visible” for those with inner sight of understanding. Faith, love and trust in their most pure form are blind. And those are the tools that are used to have the access granted.
