Super happy to have this little EP ‘Alabaster’ by out in the world.

This is my solo EP and I got to really experiment and work with the most amazing people. It’s all recorded, mixed and mastered here, with the help of some incredibly talented and gorgeous people:

It’s a pleasure to have this album out to share with you all ☺️ We recorded, mixed and Mastered the first 4 tracks off this album in this studio. It was one of the first things recorded in this space, and it’s taken me a long time to be content to put it out. It’s hard fighting your own perfectionism!

As the World Cup looms, as is tradition in this country, we must seek out an anthem, a rally cry to help lift our spirits through to the final!

Well, ‘This is The One’.

has reached into the hearts and minds of the peaple, and found the words we can barely utter.

Studio Build part 11: Got my dad in again for this one. He made some flat pack speaker cabinets back in his workshop in Leeds and we assembled it all in a day. Didn’t even have to read the instructions! 😂

Studio build Part 10: I’ve moved in and up and running now, but still want to show some of the highlights. Love it when the plasterboard goes in first time! Not a regular occurrence, but still fun 😆

Losing my timeline! Studio Build Part 7: helped me with this one. Packing the insulation into the gap. Horrible stuff RockWool. If you get any on your skin it itches like hell. Beginning to look like a wall though!

This was such a fun day to be a part of! Spent some time giving some much needed tlc to the Soundcraft Spirit 32. A couple of the faders were a touch loose, and 2 of the pots were a little dirty. I swapped some of the channels round and gave everything a spring clean. Sounding great now ☺️

Such a Joy to work on this latest single with @doadmusic I managed to convince George to give me a shot mixing some of his tunes, and I’m proud of the result. He did a great job of recording it all himself, so it was just a case of finding a nice balance. Hit me up if you’ve got some tunes you want mixing ✌️

I had the fantastic privilege of working on the cast recording of @climbwayup This was the first musical I had recorded in the studio, and there was such a fantastic energy bringing the stage show to life. For the most part we recorded everything live, apart from a few vocal overdubs, and I think you can feel like that in the recording.
