What a beautiful workshop we had last night at the stunning . This workshop on how to press flowers so they don’t turn brown included a quick pick trip thru the flower beds which was really nice and a great additional educational part. ❤️ This entire evening was dreamt up and produced by Alexa of - an artist in her own right and a lifelong resident of Mallorca with a dream of creating flower events for passionate flower lovers like all of us here. I can’t thank her enough for being the most wonderful host and treating me to a whirlwind trip that was both relaxing, rejuvenating and soooo productive. She translated my entire class too which was a feat in and of itself. I will share more videos and photos later, but wanted to share our group photo at the end. What a fabulous group of women. It was a perfect night. Thank you to for hosting us and once again Alexa for bringing this vision to life. I hope many of my flower artist friends will consider joining us next time to teach other workshops in the flower arts: resin, cyanotype, botanical dyeing, stamping, edible flowers etc etc etc. we enjoyed talking about all our favorite women artists here on IG who are making beautiful things with flowers! 🌸 Much more to come!!!

I have been invited to Hayfields this coming weekend to lead a How to Press Flowers workshop in their beautiful space! Light treats and drinks will be served. I'm bringing my empty flower press and will teach you how to press a bunch of different flowers so that YOU can fill your presses come Spring! I'm also bringing some test prints, silk scarves and cashmere for sale. We only have room for a few more people, so if you live in the area and want to learn in person please join us! I'm hosting my last in person workshop in my office/studio this weekend, on Saturday night, February 10th! I'm subletting my space beginning of March. If you want to sip on wine, eat some appetizers, make some beautiful cards with like minded pressed flower lovers, this is your last chance in my space for awhile. But...I'll be back!!! :)
