I have some very exciting news to share with all of you!!! Now that everything is official I can finally announce that I am starting my own podcast! It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and now that I have my own living space, I figured it’s finally time to bring this dream to life.
My podcast is called Voluntary Vulnerability, I picked this name because for those of you who know me…you know that I have always used my social media platforms as an outlet and a voice. I have shared some of my most interpersonal thoughts, feelings, and experiences on the internet over the years. Many see it as a negative thing, but I want to make a difference and show everyone that being vulnerable can bring forth positivity. Vulnerability allows us to raise awareness, foster good emotional/mental health, embrace who we really are, build strength/courage, and make connections/relationships with others.
For me personally, my journey of vulnerability and being honest about my hardships/unpopular opinions on social media has made me more comfortable in my own skin and has given me a voice that I never thought I had. With that being said, I want to use that voice not only to speak for myself, but for everyone else who has struggled to find/utilize theirs. Most podcasts are geared towards a specific audience and/or showcases a specific theme. Voluntary Vulnerability is going to be very different from most podcasts. I want it to be something everyone can tune in to and relate with. I want to use it to advocate and raise awareness, but I also want to laugh, joke, and have fun with it as well. Some episodes will be be deep and serious and others will be more upbeat and fun. I also plan to have friends, family members, and guest speakers join in.
Last and most certainly not least, a special thank you to Aubree’s Creations for creating my logo. You brought my vision to life and exceeded my expectations above and beyond. I couldn’t have made this post or even started this process if it weren’t for your help. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I am so excited to embark on this new journey and take you all along with me, stay tuned for more updates. So so so excited to show you all what I have planned!🌱🌸🦋
