i'm joined by a brilliant young lad Henry Bowen who’s bucked the trend by transitioning from a SEN school to a mainstream school and he speaks about what this was like and the support he’s received from support staff.

Henry speaks about how he used music as a way to express and write about his feelings, he used it as therapy and even writing his own album.

Henry speaks about his Autism and how it’s like a super power for him.

a great listen from an inspirational young lad

This episode I was joined by an inspirational young lad by the name of Charlie Frost and he’s an ambassador for the Multi Schools Council but also a brilliant artist.

Charlie spoke to me about his Tourette’s diagnosis and how there needs to be more awareness and acceptance.

As we were talking about the importance of awareness month, it was brilliant as both Tourette’s and Mental Health month both coincided with each other.

Charlie spoke about his Autism and his message is that “he embraces being different because it makes him who he is”

Charlie spoke to me about some of his brilliant hobbies and interests such as how he got into drawing as a way to help him regulate and keep him calm.

Charlie spoke about his Pokémon interests and although I knew nothing about Pokémon i was glad he felt comfortable talking about this with me.

Charlie spoke to me about being the leader of the ADHD group for the MSC and this is something he is looking forward to doing.

A bit soon I will be releasing a separate clip of what Charlie said which I think is important for you all to hear.

This is a great listen and I enjoyed recording the episode with a great young lad.

For this episode i was joined by Daniel Jones better known as TheAspieWorld who has over 238k subscribers on Yotube for doing videos as a help guide for those who are Autistic.

Daniel spoke in depth about the diagnosis he got of Aspergers (as it was called at the time) and it finally made sense as to why he had those quirks and with the way he acted.

He spoke also about the Youtube Channell he started and how he didn't expect to get this amount of people viewing his videos, Daniel has now become one of the pioneers of the Autism community.

Daniel spoke about his childhood, what school was like and how he's now raising a little family, Daniel did also speak about what it's like to be a parent and Autistic which was an interesting insight for someone like myself wanting to have a little family of my own in future.

i throughly enjoyed doing this episode and i hope for those that watch his content that it gives a more hollistic side to him

I was delighted by the return of a good friend of mine Sez Francis who’s the last guest to appear on this podcast for now.

It was a great general chat about Autism, Mental Health and all things to do surrounding that.

Sez spoke to me about paid employment and the need to get more Autistic people into paid work because the statistic is very low in that regard.

Sez spoke more in detail about what school was like for her and being singled out for simply being different.

Sez spoke about her first job and her journey to becoming a swimming teacher which she throughly enjoys helping those with all different abilities.

We both agreed that the conversation around those with LD and/or autism going into paid work needs to improve

Sez has spoke to me about her ambitions for the future, where she wants to be and it was really inspiring to hear this.

Sez spoke about her passion for not only swimming but her history channel and the podcast she does too.

What a great final episode 🙂

He’s an author as well as emotional therapist

He spoke about helping people heal and connect more fully with their emotions.

James spoke to me about why he was inspired by a book that he read by Carl Jung, how a lot of his ideas resonated with him and how it prompted him to go into the field he wanted to go into.

James also spoke to me about emotional guidance and how people don’t have to experience hard times alone.

James spoke about the book he wrote to help others find themselves and self discovery.

James spoke about the training he received as a counsellor and how it helped him have empathy to explore the spiritual side of emotions and an open approach to emotional healing, acceptance and self awareness

Great to do this episode for sure 🙂

This episode I’m joined by Rohit who’s an Autism advocate, it was great to get his thoughts and we discussed a range of topics.

Rohit talked me to about what his school life was like and how he unfortunately experienced bullying simply for being different, it’s brave when someone opens up about something so personal to them.

Rohit talks to me about his Autism diagnosis, the quirks that make him unapologetically him and the way he can now freely express himself without judgement.

Rohit spoke about the importance of Mental Health and doing more to allow people to open up.

We talked about shared interests such as gaming and football so it was nice to see that we had stuff in common

I had the pleasure of chatting to him about his acting career and what his goals are in future.

Jack also emphasised about the importance of keeping the conversation going around Mental Health and encouraging more people to speak out in the process.

Jack spoke about Autism representation in films and how we need to shift from stereotypical ones like Rain Man

Jack spoke to me about the film he’s going to be in and you can check this out on Netflix!

Just recorded the final ever episode of this podcast, it was a truly special one and couldn’t have done it with a better guest.

I’ve been going at 100 miles an hour for the last 2 years doing podcasting, music, working, appearing on podcasts myself amongst other projects, ambassador work so will be nice to take a much earned break away and recharge to focus on other things I want to do in future!

i am joined by Bradley Ashworth who's a lad i used to coach and i'm proud to see how he's progressed not only as a footballer but as a person too.

Bradley spoke to me about his passion for football and what ignited the spark, he says he comes from a football mad family with his dad previously in the Nottingham Forest academy.

Bradley spoke to me also about the difference between SEN and Mainstream football as SEN is more inclusive, understanding and accommodating as coaches whereas some mainstream clubs aren't as inclusive.

Bradley's passion for football is evident in this and he says how football has improved his Mental Health and he'll always have a love for the game

one of the best episodes i've done yet!

After October ends I’ll stop doing recordings of this podcast entirely.

I’ve loved doing this and it’s been amazing but series 5 was always gonna be the last and it’s arguably the best series yet with the calibre of guests but all good things must come to an end as I want to focus more on other projects I’m passionate about and can give my full attention to.

Series 5 is a great number to end it on, This is not me saying goodbye to podcasting forever but goodbye for now, I may have a podcast in a different capacity such as talking about football or something like that one day.

There’s millions of podcasts out there but my favourite one is Steven Bartlett Diary of a CEO.

This episode i am joined by Kevin and club secretary Sharon from Ability Using Sport (AUS).

They talked candidly about the origins of AUS and how the idea came to fruition where Kevin is passionate about creating more opportunities for people with Disabilities within the Community and Sport was a great way to do that.

They spoke to me about their future visions for the club and i loved the way they spoke about their approach to the club, you can tell it feels like a proper family environment where the importance of family and friendships is emphasised.

We also spoke about the difference between coaches in mainstream and coaches within disability and how society needs to be more inclusive especially in sport.

for anyone wanting to join a inclusive football club, AUS are the guys to go to because if you give this episode a listen, you'll hear the passion in the way they speak.

There’s life in this dog yet, I’m in the process of recruiting guests for my podcast for series 5 which will definitely be the last and 5 is a good number to end on for sure!

This will be recorded over the summer and episodes will start coming out around September-October time.

I’ve been doing this podcast for nearly 2 years and I’ve honestly loved doing it, speaking to every single guest I’ve had on here so I want to make series 5 the best series it’s had and to end on a high!

The podcast in total is on 800 downloads so would be wonderful to make it a thousand downloads by the time series 5 ends and I’d love to end the podcast on 1000+ downloads.
