Relatives of missing person stage protest and block road at Behrote on Thannamandi -Rajouri

Mohd Kabir S/O Salam Din (40) R/O Village Lah of Thannamandi returned from Mumbai and reached at Jammu on 8/05/2024 .his dead body found from the fields of Satwari Jammu on 10/5/2024. Brought his dead body today on 12/5/2024 relatives stage protest and block road. Later on protesters raised anti administration slogans and demand justice .they said excratia and compensation be sanctioned in his favour. They demand impartial enquiry so that criminals may be booked under Law SDPO Thannamandi Viqar Wani alongwith SHO Thannamandi Hilal Azhar and DDC member Abdul Qayyum Mir.and ExMLA Qamar Choudhary also reached on spot who pacified the agitators and call off the protest.

Absconder nabbed by police in Nowshera

Rajouri

Police in Nowshera sub division of Rajouri has nabbed an absconder who was wanted in a case but was evading his arrest.

The absconder is identified as Balkar Singh son of Surjeet Singh resident of Nonial, Nowshera.

He was declared an absconder U/Ss 512 CrPC (Now 299 CrPC) on 22.07.2022 in case FIR No 13/2014 U/Ss 498-A RPC.

A general warrant was also issued against the absconder by JMIC Nowshera.

Police team headed by SHO Nowshera arrested the absconder from National Highway NH144A Rajal and has been produced before the Hon'ble court.

PDD fails to connect the 63 KV electric transformer installed at Mangota B of Thannamandi

Under the supervision of Former Sarpanch Mohd Hussain inhabitants of Mohra Tulli wali ward No -07 of Panchayat Mangota B of Thannamandi and raised protest against PDD and said in 2021 rupees five lakhs sanctioned for installation of 63 KV transformer for supply of power to the public of ward no 7. He said the department of power installed electric transformer in 2021 .He said the public waiting for installation of Poles and wire to restore power . He said public facing lot of problem without power as the student suffer badly without power their study suffer .Public appeal DC Rajouri to interven into the matter and provide 12 poles and wire to restore power .he said public depositing rs 520/ per month as electric fees.

*Preparing young officers for the field challenges in RP Range - A top priority*

An introductory cm familiarization meeting was organised with the newly posted DySsP in Rajouri-Poonch range at RPHQ Rajouri.

In view of the recent terror incidents, law & order situation in Rajouri Poonch Range, few officers of DySP rank have been posted by PHQ so as to augment the security apparatus in the range. This is also to ensure a broader sense of security among the people of the vulnerable areas.

In the context of the officers who have joined their new assignments, Range Police Hqrs Rajouri today arranged an introductory cm familiarization meet with the officers. The purpose of the meeting was to brief and sensitize the officers regarding the security challenges in the RP-Range and to prepare them for their better performance in these testing times.

Sh. Bhupinder Kumar-JKPS, DySP SDPO Mendhar, Sh. Naveed Shoket-JKPS, Sh. Vikram Sarmhal-JKPS, Sh. Sumit Bhagat-JKPS and Dr. Umar Urfan-JKPS attended the meeting.

DIG RP Range, Dr. M. Haseeb Mughal, IPS, welcomed the officers in the Range and wished them luck for a successful, stable, and purposeful tenure in the Range.

The officers were asked to acquire knowledge regarding the deployments and available equipment, resorces in the field so as to achieve success in their assigned tasks. The current security scenario of the Range is the buzzword at the top levels.

A detailed presentation was made by the DIG Range, followed by the threadbare discussion regarding topography and deployments of security establishment in the Range. Besides background of terrorism & emerging security challenges as well border issues were held.

Stress was laid down to achieve success on CI front, narcotic, Bovine Smuggling, Drone dropping, and the generation of valuable human and technical intelligence.

It was further impressed upon the officers to develop high-level synergy with the field security agencies to have their valuable inputs and information.

Participant officers also shared their knowledge and field experiences with the DIG RP Range and assured him to work with full zeal and dedication to achieve visible results in their respective areas of responsibilities.

The meeting ended over a cup of tea and best wishes to the young officers.

*Missing Girl recovered from Chalas by Rajouri Police**

Police in Nowshera sub division of Rajouri district have recovered a missing girl from Chalas, Rajouri.

Police said that the girl namely Nahima Kouser W/o Mohd Fareed R/o Rajal tehsil Nowshera who was missing vide DDR no 07 dated 04.04.2023 and her missing report was lodged at that time.

Police led by Insp. Manpreet SHO Nowshera under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Sajad Zafri, ASP Nowshera Mohd Rafi Giri and overall supervision of SSP Rajouri Sh. Amritpal Singh-IPS, who after putting hectic efforts and after questioning and gathering various clues from her friends and relatives traced the missing girl after 07 months from Chalas Rajouri.

A special drive is already going on against absconders and also for tracing out missing persons.

Rural Development department fails to complete BDC building since 2017

Locals and social activist of Thannamandi criticised the rural development department for its failure to complete BDC building from six years...Haji Lal Hussain . Haji Mushtaq Hussain and Fazal Alam Najar said in 2017 work on BDC building of Thannamandi was started whose foundation stone was laid by ex MLA Rajouri Choudhary Qamar Hussain till date not completed the building. Locals said rural development department has utilised 40 lakhs rupees approximately for the Construction of BDC building...Locals blame that the department mis utilised huge amount and fails to complete the building. Locals urge upon the District administration Rajouri and LG administration to initiate an enquiry why this building wasn't completely till date. When contacted with BDO Thannamandi he said he has no knowledge about this building. He said he will see the file of building and then he will talk before media about the incompletion of building.
