We are proud to be part of the diverse fabric of all the communities where we publish our magazines.

Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Deal, Folkestone, Whitstable and Canterbury.

We stand by all the communities around the UK affected by the rioting and all those grieving the senseless murders of Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Alice da Silva Aguiar. We share your grief and shock.

If you're feeling understandably concerned at the moment, we thought we'd share some sound advice from Time Out on how to show support during the ongoing unrest:

- Donate to local communities
- Support charities combating racism
- Support charities supporting asylum seekers and refugees
- Be careful about what information you share

For a more comprehensive read on these points, go to timeout.com/uk/news/how-to-support-communities-during-the-ongoing-riots-in-the-uk-080624

And finally we'd like to add, take heart and comfort in the positive efforts of the people all across the UK to care and look after each other during this time.

Thank you to local artist Rebecca Strickson for letting us share this illustration 💖✊. Our community is our strength.
