Sunday shout out to all the first responders, healthcare workers and support workers and customer service teams working today.... we appreciate you.

It wasnt long ago for me too that Sunday was just another work day with full days in support work. My husband on rotational shifts at the hospital— we were counting down the days till we would have a shift off together.

But since diving into working online , Sundays have become my days of peace, reflection, relaxation and gratitude. It’s incredible to feel energized rather than drained, more choices and not missing out on weekend events and the flexibility time to fit friend connections 🙏

I get the "need" its double time so two days pay for working one day beauty but at whats the cost .... frustration of not being able to plan in advance not having the holidays when we want them.

Maybe you are looking for another way, like I was!

Know this: it’s never too late to choose another way , for having more flexibility and purpose.

There was a time when work used to light me up. But 26 years of the care industry , I was so ready for a shift. The spark faded, and I found myself wondering, "Is this all there is?" There was a time when I felt stuck with little super and no clear pathway for my retirement.

I had spent 26 years in the Disability and Child Care industry, always working hard but never feeling truly free. Despite decades of dedication, I was still on the hamster wheel—living paycheck to paycheck, always feeling like there was something else , i was needing a change and felt there wassomething more I was meant to do. I was feeling burnt out doing two jobs, and wondering if this was really it the time was ticking away and the thought of another 15 years left me feeling tired.

Something had to shift so I put it all on hold and my husband took a long servive leave for 5-months caravaning Aus. That was my wake up it gave me time to reflect, I realized I couldn’t keep living a life that was keeping me so busy and was no longer fulfilling me. I knew I needed a change—more freedom, more time, more financial security— I knew i couldnt go back to the same I needed to make it happen.

That’s when I discovered this incredible online business model—a way to create a life aligned with my values and build foundational skills . It wasn’t easy; I had to let go of old beliefs, step into my fears, and trust in something new. I learned that every successful person started as a beginner, facing their own doubts and building confidence one step at a time.

I was like yeah yeah....... eyes glazed over !!!
There is so much hype....... and I even lost friends because of MY OWN sceptisism!!!!

So Yes, I get it—taking that leap into a new business can feel daunting. Especially when you’ve tried multiple ventures that felt more like hobbies than pathways to true freedom. Like many of you, I've been there—working hard, hustling to earn a little extra for a holiday, and always juggling that side hustle alongside a demanding job.

But turning 50 was a wake-up call for me. After losing my mum at just 51, I knew life was too short not to live fully. My husband and I packed up and embarked on a 5-month adventure around Australia. I was there on determined to find a business that could sustain our travel lifestyle and set us up for a secure future.

my fear was that I didn’t want to risk my hard-earned money, especially after experiencing market losses in the past. So, I did my due diligence. I researched multiple businesses with an open mind, looking for something that aligned with my values, my goals, and my vision for the future.

For so long, I was deeply rooted in my masculine energy—always getting things done, taking the lead, paying the bills, and keeping control. My independence was my shield, and I held onto it for dear life, never asking for help, afraid that showing vulnerability would make me seem less capable.

I used to hide my true self, prioritizing others' needs to avoid conflict, even though it hurt me deeply.

But something shifted for me I was tired I needed to allow myself to unburdened and release the tightness I was holding in my body. I started letting down my walls, embracing my feminine side, and allowing myself to soften. This was a scary and unfamiliar territory, but in doing so, I began to feel my true essence return—my energy, my fun, my joy.

Letting go of ruminating thoughts and moving away from conversations that drained my energy has brought more freedom, more relaxation, and more time for the things that truly matter. I'm learning to lean into this new flow, taking time to journal and share my experiences so that other women like me can also embrace their softer side, improve their communication, and align with the life they desire.
