To continue its tradition as well as showcase students' creativity and entrepreneurship, the Bicol Regional Science High School (BRSHS) celebrates Brisayan Day 2024, on Friday, Oct 10.

Various school clubs and organizations displayed their unique booths, featuring distinct themes, food stalls, interactive games, and handmade crafts.

This annual event aims to enhance students' talent and creativity and promote entrepreneurial skills among students while fostering a sense of unity and school spirit through friendly competition and collaboration.

Meanwhile, the generated profit during the event were directed to support the clubs' future events and projects, as well as charitable causes.

Students have incorporated Brisayan culture into their booth designs, providing educational experiences while enjoying the festivity.

Teachers and school personnel commend students' skills and success in blending fun and practical learning in the event.

Despite the rainy weather condition, the Brisayan community proved their resilience as they continued to celebrate their success not only in sales, but also in shared learnings and experiences.

𝐁𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐈𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika na may temang "Wikang Filipino, Wikang Mapagpalaya," ipinakita ng bawat mag-aaral ng Bicol Regional Science High School (BRSHS) ang kanilang natatanging talento’t kakayahan noong ika-30 ng Agosto, 2024.

Isinagawa ng Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Filipino (SaMaFil) ang makulay na pagdiriwang sa pangunguna ng Tagapangulong si Ashlee Kaye Yaguel at Pangulong si Mika Isabelle Y. Del Mundo at tagapayo nitong si Bb. Lea A. Balderama na sinuportahan ng Departamento ng Wika sa pamumuno nina Gng. Erlynn D. Moises, Tagapangasiwa ng Departamento at Gng. Anamyr M. Asilo, Tagapag-ugnay sa Filipino.

Sinimulan ang programa sa isang nakapagbibigay-inspirasyon na pambungad na mensahe mula kay G. Rene Preña, punongguro ng BRSHS, na sinundan ng isang mensahe ng pag-suporta mula kay School Governance and Operations Division Chief G. Ernie M. Baranquel na kumatawan kay Bb. Nympha D. Guemo, pansangay na tagapamanihala ng mga paaralan ng lungsod Ligao, kung saan kinilala ang dedikasyon ng mga mag-aaral para sa pagdiriwang.

Isa sa mga tampok na bahagi ng programa ang makulay na pagtatanghal ng "Sayaw sa Nayon" ng mga piling mag-aaral mula sa Baitang 12, pati na rin ang "Sabayang Pagbigkas" ng Baitang 11-Ingenuity.

Ibinida rin ang kultural na mga pagtatanghal, kabilang ang dula mula sa Baitang 11-Initiative, ang "Pangkat Kawayan" ng Baitang 8 sa pangunguna ni G. Randy Briz, at ang dulang musikal ng Baitang 11-Innovative.

Bukod sa mga pagtatanghal, ang ikalawang bahagi ng programa, na isa sa mga pinakahihintay, ay tampok ang makulay na tradisyon ng “Pista sa Nayon,” “Laro ng Lahi,” at ang tagisan ng talino na pinamagatang “WikaAlaman,” na nilahukan ng mga kinatawan mula sa iba't ibang baitang.

Tinapos ni Bb. Ashlee Kaye Yaguel, tagapangulo ng SaMaFil, ang makabuluhang okasyon sa isang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng kalahok at nagwagi sa bawat patimpalak.

Ang matagumpay na pagdiriwang ay umani ng papuri mula sa mga manonood at nagbigay ng pagkakataon sa mga mag-aaral na ipagmalaki ang kanilang pagka-Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng sining, musika, at kultura.

The BRSHS HulMatrix publication invites all aspiring campus journalists and publication staffers to 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬. Aspirants who wish to join must first undergo a screening process to fully assess their skills in writing in their desired event. 𝗗𝗜𝗪𝗔 𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔│Sa pamumuno ng SAMAFIL (Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Filipino) ay inilunsad ang Pambungad na Palatuntunan bilang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2024, na may temang Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya, na ginanap sa Mataas na Paaralang Pang-agham ng Rehiyong Bikol nitong Lunes, ika-5 ng Agosto, taong 2024.

𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦│ In commencement of school year 2024-2025, the Bicol Regional Science High School (BRSHS) community welcomes the newly enrolled Grade 7 and Grade 11 students and transferees, during the opening of classes on July 29, 2024.

Holding the annual welcome walk or "Samang" after the first flag ceremony of the school year, Brisayano students and various school organizations all lined up near the school gates to cheer and officially welcome the newcomers to the Brisayano community.

The school organizations also provided different flyers and gifts to encourage the students to join and participate in the school's different clubs and programs.

The Bicol Regional Science High School (BRSHS) HulMatrix team would like to congratulate Jace Adriel T. Yap, 𝙀𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧-𝙞𝙣-𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙭 on his participation in the category of 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 (𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝) with his coach Lizette C. Baguindo in the 2024 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 (𝙉𝙎𝙋𝘾) in Carcar, Cebu.

Representing not only the school organization but also the Ligao City Division and the entirety of Bicol Region, his accomplishments reflect the skill and qualities of campus journalism.

𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒘𝒔𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝑺𝑷𝑪

The Bicol Regional Science High School's 'The Matrix' proudly highlights its participation in the 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 during recently concluded 2024 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 (𝙉𝙎𝙋𝘾) held at Carcar, Cebu.

This feat would not have been made possible without the immense collaboration and skill of the publication's correspondents and Editorial Board along with their respective school paper advisers (SPAs) Lizette Baguindo and Lea Balderama, school journalism coordinator Erlynn Moises, the entire HulMatrix publication, and support given by the Brisayano community and Ligao City Division Office.

The Matrix will be continuing their unwavering commitment to delivering stories of quality and integrity within the community proving that 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬.
