What makes Charge into Reading different from other decodable readers? Lots!
-Each book in the Charge into Reading line focuses on a single sound or spelling pattern.
-The focus sound of each book is clearly labeled on the front of each book, taking the guesswork out of what the book focuses on!
- Each stage is color-coded, making it easy to see which books go together.

At the end of last year we made a donation to a school in our home state. A few days ago I received this email.

These letters look so cute. I cannot wait to get them and share!

One of the most amazing things that has come out of our company is knowing that we are actually changing lives. I take that incredibly seriously, and I sincerely appreciate every one of you who has given me a chance to do so!

We’ve narrowed down your stories and chosen the top 16. These have been broken into 4 groups and are now up for voting on my stories.

If you’ve been waiting to preorder our new short vowel and CVC books, here’s your chance!

I need your help…

One of our missions here at Charge Mommy Books is to give back—to make literacy accessible to everyone. And the reason we are able to do that is because of every one of you and your support.

One of the ways we do this is through free resources. In fact, our site currently has 35 free resources available to everyone!

We also love tBack to Play to those in need. This year we’ve been able to make some wonderful donations, including my to (if you don’t know then, look them up!). We’ve also donated to title 1 schools, literacy organizations, and to children’s hospitals.

I’m so proud of how many books we’ve been able to donate and it’s all because you have supported our small business. Now we’re getting ready for our biggest donation of the year and we’ll need your help to pull it off! So keep your eyes here for a big announcement later this week!

As we close in on the end of the year, I’m excited to announce our biggest donation of the year, and it’s all thanks to every one of you who supported our small business this year. Starting tomorrow we will be partnering with @fallingfor1st to choose 4 US-based Title 1 school or district to win 250 sets of our decodable readers. When I look at how far these books came from their first inception, I am amazed. From my first plans to now, they are totally different books. They passed through so many hands: literacy specialists, in-class teachers, science experts… and you! To everyone who weighed in along the way—who offered phrasing, talked to me about nonfiction text features, weighed in on text color, suggested I switch to photos, and more…thank you!
