As the season is changing, it brings me to a point of reflection. Reflection of the year, the ups, the downs, what's worked, what hasn't, the people we've met and the impact we make in each others' lives, the changes in our lives and how God has been with us through it all. This year has been one of trust; trust in Him. With it has come challenges, but also great clarity.

With that, it has helped me slow down, prioritize and really focus on my mission - with my family, with the Lord and and in turn help me better serve my clients.

Yesterday was one of those “good ol’ day” moments. We made our rounds trick-or-treating with the babies (our little farmer, elephant, Alice in Wonderland and Annie Oakley) to a few of our neighbors’ and the grandparents’ houses. So awesome seeing our kids have so much fun with it. I remember the times when my own parents brought my siblings and me out on All Hallows’ Eve to our grandparents’ and neighbors’ houses. What fun it was to dress up and receive some yummy treats. 🍬

With that my mom always made a point to celebrate Halloween as a fun holiday that celebrates the eve of All Saints Day, as well as celebrating All Saints Day and All Souls Day. Which included going to Mass on November 1st (sometimes also on November 2nd) and participating in an All Saints Day party within the week! Looking forward to continuing that same tradition. Here’s to planning who the kiddos will be for the All Saints Day Party this coming week. So far we know we will have a St. Philomena and the Blessed Virgin! 😊

I’m Laura Miner; wife, mother, and ☕️ !

A few fun facts about me:

✨I’ve been married to the man of my dreams for 6 years this October! 🍂

✨God has blessed my husband and I with four little ones and our oldest just turned 5 this month (how time flies! 😭)

✨I have worked in retail, healthcare and administrative positions over the years. I have been a Director of Operations and Tiny Humans’ Personal Assistant (aka Stay-at-Home Mom) for the past five years (with a part-time Bookkeeping position at our church a couple years back) and am currently a work-at-home mom.

✨I started my business in the freelance industry to help women grow their ministry so they can focus on their passion and serving God’s call, while also having more time to spend with their family.

✨ I’m an extroverted introvert! 😉

✨I enjoy reading, cooking, researching (yup, I’m weird like that 😂), being outside, exercising, and snuggling up with my family while eating popcorn and watching The Andy Griffith Show! 🍿 🎥

Adaptability! Now this is a quality every entrepreneur needs, because there will always come a day, or two, or three - that things go wrong.

For me, that thing is electricity. Yup, at around 3 o’clock this morning our electricity went out and it has yet to come back on. Thank God for Hotspot, am I right?! 🙌

So what do we do when things go wrong. We have two options.

1. Throw a pity party and get nothing done.
2. Adapt and get things done!

I don’t know about you, but I would much rather adapt and keep projects moving. 🧩

So here I sit on my porch in this beautiful weather, baby wearing, with my coffee ☕️ and computer 💻 getting things accomplished! 💪
