The feeling of being loved back by someone whom you've poured out your everything into is so unexplainable. I wonder how my Heavenly Father feels when I have this same attitude towards Him; always running to Him, always leaning towards Him and letting Him know how much I need and want Him.

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” - Matthew 7:11

Thank You Father for giving us Jesus, our only hope and salvation.

This is historic. She was born during the peak of a pandemic, when all that we had in mind was ‘will this ever end?’, ‘will everything get back to normal?’, and for me, ‘will my daughter ever experience the wonderful things that her mother and I experienced?’ And here we are. Still can’t believe it.

We might take this victory in the human race for granted, but this experience is a picture of God’s RESTORATION. Being kept in our homes and being limited taught us to be humble, to call upon His name, turn from our wicked ways and seek His face. And true enough, He heard from heaven and forgave our sins and healed our land.

God sent His only Son so that whoever believes in Jesus will not perish but will have a great life no matter the season in this world. Witnessing great things flash before my eyes thanks to Jesus.

God be praised!

Okay, at first I was really hesitant about it and believed it may cause more harm than help, but then I saw Power Mac Center’s post about having 20% discount if you’re vaccinated (which actually is on “selected items only”, LIKE really little number of items lang pala so don’t get vaccinated if only perks like these are your reason) and Shell’s discount for fuel ⛽️, I thought alrighty let’s do it.

Kudos still to most companies and business owners doing their part to convince cynical people like me haha

BUT what actually made me do it was when I saw the news that our government is giving some vaccines 💉 to other countries. I know it might not be true (I hardly believe anything on the news), just the thought of “since most Filipinos don’t want it, let’s just give them to those who might want it” compelled me.

To my friends and fellow Filipinos who want to take advantage of this free help from our government, try going to any of the malls near you, they might accept walk-ins. I was actually just trying to renew our Motorbike’s 🏍 registration but saw their center here in my case, Robinsons Galleria Cebu. I want to thank our government for all their efforts as well despite all of the noises.

Whether we or not, we will all face our Creator someday and NO VACCINE can save us. But the ultimate HELP that God sent us was His Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer something more painful and deadlier than COVID. Choose to surrender your life to him today, then you would have peace in your soul whether you’re vaccinated or not coz only those who believe in Him will live after this life so there will be nothing to fear anymore. Stay safe my friends! Eterenally! Salvation belongs to our Christ alone!

Hillsong UNITED - Splinters and Stones (Ronald Segarra Cover)

Let our first worship cover for this year be about this beautiful story of a woman found in John 8, who was caught doing something really shameful, ready to be stoned to death by people who think they are so much better than her, and amazed by how a perfect Savior responded.

SPOILER ALERT: Through the lyrics of this song, let us all discover that in the end, we are 'that' woman. No matter how much better we think we are than others, we will always have something shameful that we've done that is also worthy of being judged by God.

In the passage, when Jesus was asked what shall be done to this woman while each carrying their stones ready to throw at her, He simply kneeled down and wrote something on the ground. What was written isn't mentioned in the Bible but for me, I personally believe that Jesus wrote the Ten Commandments and reminded all of them of the original rule of the game which was if you broke even a single one of those ten, YOU SHALL be stoned to death. Or it could be that maybe Jesus was also enumerating all of their own sins on the ground one by one being the all-knowing God that He is? With their names. And what they did. Maybe? Woah. Cringe.

When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."

So as the "accusers" saw this and realized what the Teacher was communicating to them, they all remembered their part of the shame-game, turned their backs and headed home. With no one left around her, Jesus then approached the woman and asked her, "Where now are your accusers?"

She said, “No one, Lord.”

“Neither do I condemn you; now go and sin no more.”

Not knowing that she was able to walk free because it was Him who will receive the crushing weight of what our flesh deserved. Being reminded of stories like this in the Bible is the reason why I can't help but praise and sing a song to a God that is so good and merciful. Truly, His KINDNESS leads us to CHANGE and live a life of freedom.
