It took me a great deal of inner work to be able to understand and fully embrace the meaning of this simple statement. Giving is beautiful, deeply fulfilling and for me somehow easy but; being open to receive takes a great deal of strength. One needs to be open and vulnerable in order to let abundance in, one needs to feel worthy of it all and that requires deep self love. Self love isn’t always an easy practice and demands a face to face conversation with your programming, with the story you keep repeating to yourself, your justifications, self imposed limitations and unaware thoughts, all of the things that you have been taught and that you now need to unlearn. I am still very much a work in progress but, what a beautiful and empowering experience that one has been! If you are reading this now know that, service to others starts with yourself. Be kind and generous towards yourself. Be and experience the love that you give.
