Antonio Mancini (1852-1930)
Proclaimed by the likes of John Singer Sargent to be the greatest painter of his time, he was one of the pioneers of the pre-impressionist movement, "Verismo". Mancini however, never gained as much popularity as his contemporaries did, with the common man. This week, we attempt to change that. Let us acquaint ourselves with a true master of the paintbrush and travel back in time to the age of enlightenment!
