KKB Does Not Want Peace in Papua
The armed criminal group (KKB) never seems to stop spreading terror to the people of Papua.
Most recently, the KKB in the Yapen Islands, Papua has returned to action by threatening civil society and the police. The KKB made two requests and would carry out a massacre if they were not met.
The KKB spread threats through video recordings which eventually went viral. In the video, a man wearing a camouflage uniform claims to be the division commander responsible for the attack on Kilo 1 Sabewa, Yapen Islands. The man asked the public not to join in with the security forces regarding the operation.
"Because my bullets don't use eyes," said the KKB statement.
The man explained that the peace zone in the Yapen Islands had been changed by the police. Then he made a second request that the KKB not be spied on.
"All companies owned by Indonesians will immediately stop operating at Yapen, because they infiltrated intelligence officers as employees to spy on us," he continued.
The man then emphasized that his party would launch again if the two points of his request were not met. He admits that his party will carry out the massacre.
"If my calls are not taken seriously then don't blame me if I massacre you," he said.
Yapen Islands Police Chief AKBP Herzoni Saragih confirmed the circulating KKB video. He also asked the public not to believe the KKB statement because it was a form of propaganda.
"That's a form of propaganda from them," said AKBP Herzoni.
Herzoni then appealed to the public, especially in the Yapen Islands, not to easily believe misleading information, especially those that could cause uproar.
"Don't easily believe issues that contain propaganda. Let's die wisely in receiving information, especially information that cannot be accounted for," he stressed.
The KKB previously attacked a police convoy of 25 people at the Saubeba Simpang T-junction, North Yapen District, on Tuesday (13/12) afternoon. The KKB initially blocked the road so that a group of police were deployed to the location.
The blocked road is the link between North Yapen and Serui City. However, on the way, the police group was suddenly intercepted by the KKB, who launched an indiscriminate attack by firing several shots from the top of the hill.
"Suddenly our members were attacked by the KKB. Their number is estimated at 40 people. From the sound of gunshots heard, there were indications that they used 4 guns," said Yapen Islands Police Chief AKBP Herzoni Saragih.
When the KKB carried out the attack, members of the police put up resistance. However, in the end the police chose to withdraw because the KKB's position was not detected.
"The members returned fire at that time. Only the location of the KKB was at a high altitude and random, so the members preferred to protect themselves. Moreover, the KKB used homemade bombs or Molotov cocktails with gunpowder," he said.
He said the police officers who were at the location then ran in disarray to save themselves. Meanwhile, the 3 cars used were abandoned and became the target of the KKB burning.
As many as 25 police officers were evacuated from the location of the KKB attack. However, one civilian who was part of the police group could not be saved and was shot dead by the KKB.

Papuan Separatist Group's Brutal Actions are Synonymous with International Terorism
The Papuan Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) is getting more and more violent, because it has committed a series of crimes that have threatened the lives of other people. KST's abomination makes him synonymous with ISIS because he has the heart to treat his enemies badly.
KST are guard personnel under the command of OPM (Free Papua organization). They are tasked with succeeding OPM's ideals, for the glory of West Papua. Their mad desire to liberate Papua turned into venomous ambition, so that KST turned like a terrible monster and made every effort to make the Federal Republic of West Papua stand up and separate from Indonesia.
KST has caused a lot of suffering to the people and carried out several attacks during December 2022. They have killed 3 motorcycle taxi drivers in the Gunung Bintang area. KST also killed 1 member of the Koroway tribe in the Yahukimo area.
KST's atrocities make them synonymous with ISIS because they commit sadistic murders and show off their heads. Cruelly, they also recorded the action and then spread the amateur video on social media. These atrocities are very similar to those carried out by ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
Brigadier General Jo Sembiring, Danrem 172 Praja Wira Yhakti, stated that the victims of the killings carried out by KST were immigrants. He works as an illegal gold miner. However, he was accused of being an officer who disguised himself as a civilian, and was cruelly killed by KST.
KST's cruelty has become more extreme because they don't just kill, but behead the victim. Actions similar to ISIS have made people more antipathy. Papuans are surprised by KST acting like an uncivilized person and cruelly carrying out beheadings like ISIS.
The Papuan people are increasingly saddened and hate KST because they have the heart to kill immigrants.
Their actions tarnished the name of the people on Cendrawasih Earth. Do not let the Papuan people be considered racist and prioritize the issue of SARA. In fact , KST was only a handful of residents who rebelled and did not represent the people of Cendrawasih Earth.
No wonder the nickname of the terrorist group is very appropriate for KST because their actions lead to terrorism and radicalism, such as ISIS. Where KST attacks are carried out in extreme ways and use sharp weapons. They also carry out killings and terror attacks that have the potential to cause injuries to civilians.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the Cartenz Peaceful Operations Public Relations Task Force AKBP Arif Irawan stated that his party was paying attention to the series of KST attacks in December 2022. Moreover, they were desperate to attack the Yapen Islands where there had never been any shooting before. Currently the Carstensz Peace Task Force maintains public order and security, starting from the smallest environment.
In that sense, the KST's brutal attack really hurt the Papuan people. The community criticized the KST attack because they were so desperate to shoot civilians who work as motorcycle taxi drivers. He was accused of being a spy for the authorities even though his status was that of an ordinary citizen.
Accusations of espionage have always been an excuse for KST to attack civilians. They also shot a motorcycle taxi driver because they were suspected of being a police intelligence officer. However, these accusations could not be proven because the police denied them. They shoot other people at random, even though they are both Papuans, only because of suspicions of spies around them.
Therefore, KST must be eradicated because it does not get any sympathy from the public. They don't want to be invited to defect because they are loyal and love the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. How can you get sympathy if your work is to attack and kill and the victims are fellow Papuans.
Moreover, KST also shot dead a bank employee named Darius Yamame in the Sinak District, Puncak Regency. The victim's family demanded a customary fine of IDR 1,000,000,000 from the Puncak Regency Government.
The people were even more furious because in December, KST repeatedly shot civilians. On December 1, OPM (Free Papua Organization) has a birthday and they celebrate it with an attack. What a crazy way to celebrate the birthday, because KST is indiscriminate in shooting.
Therefore the Papuan people agree that KST will continue to be pursued by the Carstensz Peace Team. They can no longer be approached in a humane way, because they attack blindly. KST must be eradicated from Papua. Otherwise, people's safety is at stake.
KST does not need to be angry if it is identified with ISIS because they carry out the same actions: brutal attacks and beheading people who are considered enemies. Even the bloody event was recorded and the amateur video was deliberately distributed on social media. KST must be eradicated so as not to defame the citizens of Cendrawasih Land and protect the people of Papua.aid.

Papuan Youth Will Soon Have a Creativity Development Center to Improve the Welfare of the Papuan People
The progress of the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (pych) building has reached 99.953 percent. The building, which is planned for several programs for the welfare of the community, is scheduled to be inaugurated soon by President Joko Widodo.
In the context of developing the Papuan community, a platform is needed so that several programs can be achieved. The PUPR ministry coolly built the Papua Youth Creative Hub building, which will then be handed over to the State Intelligence Agency and given to PMI to utilize the building, so that it can help community development.
"The Papua Youth Creative Hub will become a place for developing the human resources of the Papuan people, especially young people who are future candidates for the nation"
The building, which was built on an area of fifteen thousand square meters, consists of the main building, dormitory building, landscaping, sports field, utility building, parking, and guard post. The architectural design of the roof of the main building is inspired by the traditional houses of the people of Jayapura and Wamena, namely the honai roof and the kariwari roof.
Before it was inaugurated, Made Kartikajaya, Deputy IV for Economic Intelligence at BIN, who is also PMI supervisor, inspected each room and all facilities up to the field, to ensure that all work was completed flawlessly. PMI stated that the construction of this building was one of the many facilities provided to Papuan youth and Papuan people by President Jokowi and BIN head Budi Gunawan. So that this building will be used preferably for community development and empowerment.

The Vice President Asks The TNI Commander Yudo Margono to Take Firm Action on the Papuan Separatist Groups
Support for the TNI Commander, Admiral Yudo Margono, to be more assertive in dealing with the conflict in Papua continues to flow.
Having received support from the President, now Vice President Ma'ruf Amin is giving a stronger signal regarding the handling of the separatist criminal groups or KKB.
Yudo Margono was asked to be more assertive in taking action against the Papuan KKB, which often commits violence against civilians and security forces.
According to Ma'ruf, this firm step is necessary even though the government is also prioritizing a humanist approach in dealing with the dynamics that occur in Papua.

"The reorientation of the military in Papua and West Papua is still unclear, and this policy is a crucial touchstone for the future commander-in-chief," said Anton.

President Jokowi Asks The Army to Act Firmly Against the Brutal Behaviour of the Separatist Groups in Papua
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) gave special instructions to the TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono regarding the armed criminal separatist terrorist group (KKB) in Papua. Jokowi asked Yudo to be firm with the KKB.
Jokowi initially said that the humanist approach and the reduction of TNI soldiers in Papua were indeed good. However, he also reminded Yudo to be firm with the KKB because of the brutal actions they often carried out.
"I think both the humanist approach is good, the reduction of TNI soldiers in Papua is good, but you have to be firm there that the KKB always does that, so it won't solve the problem," said Jokowi.
Previously, Jokowi also conveyed a number of messages to Yudo, who had just been appointed as TNI Commander to replace General Andika Perkasa.
"I have ordered him to first protect the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia," said Jokowi.

Beware of The Separatist Terrorist Groups Spreading Hoaxes and Provocations in Papua
The Papuan Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) uses all kinds of means to realize its goals, one of which is by spreading hoaxes and provocations. The community is expected to always be aware of every action of KST Papua.
Hoax is a dangerous thing because it can poison the minds of many people, so they are influenced and end up doing negative things.
“The danger of this hoax is being exploited by KST, so that they spread fake news and provoke residents on Earth of Cendrawasih”.
One of the hoaxes that was widely heard was the news about the burning of a resident’s house in Kiwirok, last year, in Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua. It is narrated by KST that the perpetrators are police officers. In fact, it is just a lie or a hoax, because it is impossible for the officers who are friends of the people to actually take such negative actions.
Darem 172/PWY TNI Brigadier Izak Pagemanan confirmed that the news of the burning in Kiwirok and the arrest of KST were hoaxes. It is not true if there is such an event, like what is on social media. In a sense, KST twists and creates fake news, and accuses the authorities of making people hostile to them.
The arson carried out by the authorities was a hoax because it was KST that did it, in Kiwirok and Yahukimo. In fact, it was not only residents’ houses that were burned, but also public facilities and school buildings. But it’s a shame they throw stones and hide their hands and accuse the other party of being the culprit.
As a result of KST’s actions, there was a very large material loss, therefore they are still fugitives to this day. The Nemangkawi Task Force worked hard to arrest the members of the separatist group, so as not to spread chaos both in the real world and in cyberspace. KST is troubling and must be hunted down.
The public is also asked not to believe if there is sensational news on social media, because it could be just a hoax. When there are accusations that the authorities have done something negative, don’t get emotional and share the news. However, first check the truth, it can be via the website or ask directly to the person concerned.
Confirmation is very necessary because if people share it, the consequences will be very fatal. Don’t be a hoax spreader and cause many people to join in with antipathy to the authorities. Even though the officers are friends of the people and do not have the heart to do negative things such as burning, in fact the large number of officers in Papua is to protect civil society.
The reason is, this is not the first time KST has spread hoaxes and provocations on social media. Some time ago they had made fake news stating that the presence of the apparatus in Papua was to eradicate the Melanesian race. In fact, this is clearly wrong, because the apparatus came to help the people and protect them from the violence of KST.
Therefore, we must use logic and do not take short axis when there are hoaxes that spread on social media. Think first, is it true or a lie? Don’t let things get complicated and KST laughs because many are caught up in provocations.
People, especially those living in Papua, please be aware of hoaxes on social media. KST is very cunning by spreading false information and narrating that the authorities have come to harm, even though this is completely wrong. Do not just believe in hoaxes and check the truth first, so as not to be provoked by KST.

New Autonomous Regions Opens Opportunities for Papuans to Become Civil Servants of the State in Their Own Territory

The existence of the New Autonomous Region of Papua, namely the Provinces of South Papua, Central Papua, Central Highlands Papua and Southwest Papua, will accelerate development in the Papua region. The Papuan people also have the opportunity to develop their own territory, both as citizens and as state civil servants.
With the formation of 4 new provinces in Papua, there will automatically be construction of many new roads and public facilities. In addition, the regional income and expenditure budget funds for each province will be focused on infrastructure development that makes people's lives easier, and human resource development.
Regarding government officials, the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform, Abdullah Azwar Anas, said that the arrangement of the state civil apparatus in the four new autonomous regions of Papua uses an 80 percent scheme for Papuans. In addition, the government is also holding an apprenticeship program to Java for Papuan civil servants. The aim is that state civil servants have more advanced capabilities to support public services in the four new autonomous regions. Currently, the Provincial Government of Papua through the Regional Civil Service Agency is encouraging State Civil Servants who have long been in the provincial government to immediately register themselves to be transferred to the new autonomous regions. Head of the Papua Provincial Civil Service Agency, Marthen Kogoya said, the registration process for transfers of state civil servants wishing to move to the three new provinces is still minimal, even though it has been open since November 17, 2022. Meanwhile, 30 civil servants who have registered for Central Papua province, 20 people for South Papua, and 15 people for the Papua Mountains province.

The Inauguration of the New Autonomous Regions Forms the Government's Partisanship towards the Papuan People
The new autonomous region of Southwest Papua has been officially established. The existence of a new autonomous region is a request from the people of Papua. When Southwest Papua Province was established, it was a form of government alignment with the people. When there is regional division, there is also potential expansion and massive development so that civilians can live at a better standard.
Papua has a lot of potential, from tourism to mining products. Natural wealth and agricultural products in Papua are excellent, and can be processed so that the people are more prosperous. In order to further increase the potential in Papua, the government will add a new autonomous region so that there are a total of 6 provinces from initially there were only 2 provinces.
The four new provinces in Papua are the provinces of Southwest Papua, Central Papua, South Papua and Highlands Papua (Lapago). The inauguration of the Southwest Papua Province was indeed a bit slower than the other 3 new autonomous regions. However, the people are still grateful, because the inauguration of the new autonomous region is a form of the central government's concern for the people of Papua.
Deputy V of the Presidential Staff Office, Jaleswari Pramodhawardani, stated that the inauguration of the Southwest Papua Province was a form of the government's and the parliament’s alignment with the people's aspirations. Especially the Indigenous Papuans who want steps to accelerate welfare development in the Papua region.
This means that the government really pays attention to the people of Papua and ultimately creates division of the region. The formation of the Southwest Papua Province was a request from the people of the Cendrawasih Earth, Papua. After the new autonomous region was officially established, the people were happy because the government was on their side.
So far, President Jokowi has paid great attention to the people of Papua, and has been recorded as the head of state who has visited the Cendrawasih Land Papua. He also fulfilled the people's request for the expansioan of the Papua region. Especially when Papua is too large in area (almost 40,000 m2) so new provinces are needed to make it easier to regulate.
With the inauguration of the Southwest Papua Province, there will be an even distribution of development in Papua. Development really needs to be increased so that it is evenly distributed. So, not only big cities like Jayapura or Merauke have good infrastructure. But also other areas such as Nabire, Yahukimo, Intan Jaya, and other areas.

When the Province of Southwest Papua was established, a new provincial government office was also established. Automated roads and other infrastructure continues to be repaired. The Papuan people are very grateful to the central government because since the new province was established, there will be many positive changes there.
The development needed by the community is not only in the form of roads and bridges, but also school buildings. If there is a new province, new school buildings will be built, starting from kindergarten to high school. Papuan children can go to school there and do not have to go to another city because there is no high school in their area.
Therefore the people are very grateful because the government has granted the request, by establishing the Southwest Papua Province. President Jokowi has proven to be on the side of the people, especially indigenous Papuans. In 2019, there were 61 delegates from the Papuan people who asked for regional expansion, and he granted it a few years later.
Jaleswari added, Southwest Papua Province has extraordinary natural tourism potential. Among them Raja Ampat. Then, this province also has very good mining potential. Therefore there needs to be collaboration from the local government, indigenous peoples, academics, entrepreneurs, so that this province is more advanced.
Southwest Papua Province will grow into a prosperous region. With APBD funds from the central government, the tourist areas will develop again. Not only Raja Ampat but also other places. The people of Southwest Papua can sell souvenirs, food, and offer inns to tourists.
If there is attention from the government with the formation of a new province and APBD funds, it will have a positive domino effect, namely people's welfare. They can be more prosperous because more tourist areas in Southwest Papua are being developed. With so many foreign tourists, it will increase the country's foreign exchange as well as increase the income of the people in Southwest Papua.

Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian said that the formation of the Southwest Papua Province along with the other three new autonomous regions in Papua is part of an effort to accelerate equitable distribution of development and welfare of the Papuan people.
"Our hope is that the Southwest Papua Province will once again accelerate development in Papua for the welfare of the Papuan people, including and primarily the indigenous Papuans, apart from of course the other residents there.”
“Our hope will also shorten the bureaucracy. There is no need for coordination later, communication must go to Manokwari, from Sorong Raya it is enough to go to Sorong City as the capital city”, said Tito.
The formation and inauguration of the Southwest Papua Province, continued the Minister of Home Affairs, was also carried out based on the aspirations of the Papuan people.

The draft law for the establishment of the Southwest Papua Province was passed at a plenary session at the DPR RI on November 17, 2022. Then the bill was ratified to become Law Number 29 of 2022.
So far, Papua has only had 2 provinces, and the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget funds from the two have been turned into infrastructure and facilities for all the people in Papua. But when there are 6 provinces because there are new new autonomous regions, the amount of funds. Automatically the construction will increase because the funds increase.
Development in Papua really needs to be increased so that it is evenly distributed. So, not only big cities like Jayapura or Merauke have good infrastructure. Herman Yoku as a Member of the Papuan People's Assembly (MRP) of the Indigenous Working Group said that the new autonomous region is here for the welfare of Papua. He invited residents to unite to build their respective regions in a better direction, according to the new province that had been formed.
The formation of the 4 new autonomous regions in Papua will have a positive impact on all the Papuan people.
