KKB Does Not Want Peace in Papua
The armed criminal group (KKB) never seems to stop spreading terror to the people of Papua.
Most recently, the KKB in the Yapen Islands, Papua has returned to action by threatening civil society and the police. The KKB made two requests and would carry out a massacre if they were not met.
The KKB spread threats through video recordings which eventually went viral. In the video, a man wearing a camouflage uniform claims to be the division commander responsible for the attack on Kilo 1 Sabewa, Yapen Islands. The man asked the public not to join in with the security forces regarding the operation.
"Because my bullets don't use eyes," said the KKB statement.
The man explained that the peace zone in the Yapen Islands had been changed by the police. Then he made a second request that the KKB not be spied on.
"All companies owned by Indonesians will immediately stop operating at Yapen, because they infiltrated intelligence officers as employees to spy on us," he continued.
The man then emphasized that his party would launch again if the two points of his request were not met. He admits that his party will carry out the massacre.
"If my calls are not taken seriously then don't blame me if I massacre you," he said.
Yapen Islands Police Chief AKBP Herzoni Saragih confirmed the circulating KKB video. He also asked the public not to believe the KKB statement because it was a form of propaganda.
"That's a form of propaganda from them," said AKBP Herzoni.
Herzoni then appealed to the public, especially in the Yapen Islands, not to easily believe misleading information, especially those that could cause uproar.
"Don't easily believe issues that contain propaganda. Let's die wisely in receiving information, especially information that cannot be accounted for," he stressed.
The KKB previously attacked a police convoy of 25 people at the Saubeba Simpang T-junction, North Yapen District, on Tuesday (13/12) afternoon. The KKB initially blocked the road so that a group of police were deployed to the location.
The blocked road is the link between North Yapen and Serui City. However, on the way, the police group was suddenly intercepted by the KKB, who launched an indiscriminate attack by firing several shots from the top of the hill.
"Suddenly our members were attacked by the KKB. Their number is estimated at 40 people. From the sound of gunshots heard, there were indications that they used 4 guns," said Yapen Islands Police Chief AKBP Herzoni Saragih.
When the KKB carried out the attack, members of the police put up resistance. However, in the end the police chose to withdraw because the KKB's position was not detected.
"The members returned fire at that time. Only the location of the KKB was at a high altitude and random, so the members preferred to protect themselves. Moreover, the KKB used homemade bombs or Molotov cocktails with gunpowder," he said.
He said the police officers who were at the location then ran in disarray to save themselves. Meanwhile, the 3 cars used were abandoned and became the target of the KKB burning.
As many as 25 police officers were evacuated from the location of the KKB attack. However, one civilian who was part of the police group could not be saved and was shot dead by the KKB.

Papuan Separatist Group's Brutal Actions are Synonymous with International Terorism
The Papuan Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) is getting more and more violent, because it has committed a series of crimes that have threatened the lives of other people. KST's abomination makes him synonymous with ISIS because he has the heart to treat his enemies badly.
KST are guard personnel under the command of OPM (Free Papua organization). They are tasked with succeeding OPM's ideals, for the glory of West Papua. Their mad desire to liberate Papua turned into venomous ambition, so that KST turned like a terrible monster and made every effort to make the Federal Republic of West Papua stand up and separate from Indonesia.
KST has caused a lot of suffering to the people and carried out several attacks during December 2022. They have killed 3 motorcycle taxi drivers in the Gunung Bintang area. KST also killed 1 member of the Koroway tribe in the Yahukimo area.
KST's atrocities make them synonymous with ISIS because they commit sadistic murders and show off their heads. Cruelly, they also recorded the action and then spread the amateur video on social media. These atrocities are very similar to those carried out by ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
Brigadier General Jo Sembiring, Danrem 172 Praja Wira Yhakti, stated that the victims of the killings carried out by KST were immigrants. He works as an illegal gold miner. However, he was accused of being an officer who disguised himself as a civilian, and was cruelly killed by KST.
KST's cruelty has become more extreme because they don't just kill, but behead the victim. Actions similar to ISIS have made people more antipathy. Papuans are surprised by KST acting like an uncivilized person and cruelly carrying out beheadings like ISIS.
The Papuan people are increasingly saddened and hate KST because they have the heart to kill immigrants.
Their actions tarnished the name of the people on Cendrawasih Earth. Do not let the Papuan people be considered racist and prioritize the issue of SARA. In fact , KST was only a handful of residents who rebelled and did not represent the people of Cendrawasih Earth.
No wonder the nickname of the terrorist group is very appropriate for KST because their actions lead to terrorism and radicalism, such as ISIS. Where KST attacks are carried out in extreme ways and use sharp weapons. They also carry out killings and terror attacks that have the potential to cause injuries to civilians.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the Cartenz Peaceful Operations Public Relations Task Force AKBP Arif Irawan stated that his party was paying attention to the series of KST attacks in December 2022. Moreover, they were desperate to attack the Yapen Islands where there had never been any shooting before. Currently the Carstensz Peace Task Force maintains public order and security, starting from the smallest environment.
In that sense, the KST's brutal attack really hurt the Papuan people. The community criticized the KST attack because they were so desperate to shoot civilians who work as motorcycle taxi drivers. He was accused of being a spy for the authorities even though his status was that of an ordinary citizen.
Accusations of espionage have always been an excuse for KST to attack civilians. They also shot a motorcycle taxi driver because they were suspected of being a police intelligence officer. However, these accusations could not be proven because the police denied them. They shoot other people at random, even though they are both Papuans, only because of suspicions of spies around them.
Therefore, KST must be eradicated because it does not get any sympathy from the public. They don't want to be invited to defect because they are loyal and love the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. How can you get sympathy if your work is to attack and kill and the victims are fellow Papuans.
Moreover, KST also shot dead a bank employee named Darius Yamame in the Sinak District, Puncak Regency. The victim's family demanded a customary fine of IDR 1,000,000,000 from the Puncak Regency Government.
The people were even more furious because in December, KST repeatedly shot civilians. On December 1, OPM (Free Papua Organization) has a birthday and they celebrate it with an attack. What a crazy way to celebrate the birthday, because KST is indiscriminate in shooting.
Therefore the Papuan people agree that KST will continue to be pursued by the Carstensz Peace Team. They can no longer be approached in a humane way, because they attack blindly. KST must be eradicated from Papua. Otherwise, people's safety is at stake.
KST does not need to be angry if it is identified with ISIS because they carry out the same actions: brutal attacks and beheading people who are considered enemies. Even the bloody event was recorded and the amateur video was deliberately distributed on social media. KST must be eradicated so as not to defame the citizens of Cendrawasih Land and protect the people of Papua.aid.

Papuan Youth Will Soon Have a Creativity Development Center to Improve the Welfare of the Papuan People
The progress of the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (pych) building has reached 99.953 percent. The building, which is planned for several programs for the welfare of the community, is scheduled to be inaugurated soon by President Joko Widodo.
In the context of developing the Papuan community, a platform is needed so that several programs can be achieved. The PUPR ministry coolly built the Papua Youth Creative Hub building, which will then be handed over to the State Intelligence Agency and given to PMI to utilize the building, so that it can help community development.

The Vice President Asks The TNI Commander Yudo Margono to Take Firm Action on the Papuan Separatist Groups
Support for the TNI Commander, Admiral Yudo Margono, to be more assertive in dealing with the conflict in Papua continues to flow.

President Jokowi Asks The Army to Act Firmly Against the Brutal Behaviour of the Separatist Groups in Papua
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) gave special instructions to the TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono regarding the armed criminal separatist terrorist group (KKB) in Papua. Jokowi asked Yudo to be firm with the KKB.
