The #FunkFriday family is so saddened by the passing of guitar great, Dean Brown. I was lucky enough to tour with him in the David Sanborn band many years ago, and we had an absolute ball. In more recent years, he always answered the call to play on FunkFriday, and we are so grateful for that. The video is what he sent in a year ago to commemorate our 150th episode. What a guy........we send our deepest condolences and prayers to his wife Ruthie. Rest in peace, you brilliant, hilarious man.....
We'll see you on the next one...
