How do you announce something like this.....

It's been really hard. It's been a long back & forth. A crazy journey, almost 11 years, and now it's over. Matt and I have separated. Some of you know, some of you don't, but I ask for continued prayers for all of us through this extremely difficult season 🖤

Happy Saturday 🖤

Life is hectic and busy and sometimes our houses get pushed down our priority list. But then we clean, do laundry, dust, wash dishes, vacuum, and the cycle starts all over again.... Maybe these instant satisfaction before and after pictures will motivate you to tackle your own mess!

Ways I get motivated to tackle the mess; shower & get ready for the day, open the blinds & curtains, put on some music & have a little bit of the devils lettuce. How do you get motivated?!

P.S. I had to stand on a step stool on one of our dining room chairs to reach! I'm 5'7" and I was able to reach just enough lol. We have high ceilings here!

We moved into this townhouse at the end of September and we FINALLY finished completely organizing, unpacking & just finishing up Lacee's room! It took about 3 weeks 🥴

The biggest problem was storage. She hangs onto EVERYTHIIIING. I got a few bins & baskets off of Facebook for free for her closet and I bought the 6 cube organizer with the mint bins from . Now (mostly) everything has a home! We also decluttered a ton and tossed out a bunch of broken toys and art supplies. It's not perfect, but it's better than it was!

We wiped off all surfaces, dusted and cleaned her ceiling fan then vacuumed real good. Now it's all fresh and ready for her to actually enjoy! 💜

Our Lacee is officially 11! 💖🥺🥰

We celebrated on Saturday with an adorable girl-chella party with some friends & family!

Then today for her actual birthday, we got her a free decaf oreo coffee🧋 from ,did some shopping at 🎯 with b-day money, had 🍱 for lunch, she got to play the 4 🚻 on my computer, and she chose pasta 🍝 with kings Hawaiian rolls for dinner, and ice cream for dessert! 🍨
She's turning into such a responsible, funny, caring, smart young lady. Happy birthday little bird! We love you so much 💗🌼🎀🎉

🎉 Connor turned 9 years old today! 😍🥺❤👦🏽

We had a little bit of a rough start to our day but it definitely turned around. Matt joined us for breakfast then had to sleep all day and got up to make dinner. The kids & I went out & about to celebrate!
We always let the kids pick all 3 meals the day of their birthday, it's a tradition we started long ago!

🥞 Breakfast was chocolate chip pancakes and sausage (which I forgot to get a picture of)
🌮 Lunch was
🌞 We played at a park for about 2 hours! And ran through the car wash lol
🧋 We stopped at for a free birthday drink! Connor chose hot chocolate
🍔 Dinner was burgers and french fries
🎂 Dessert was a strawberry cake we got from Fry's. It was yummy!

& Finally he got to open one more present! A Pokémon drawing book, thing 💛
It was fun celebrating all day. I'm so blessed to be his mama. He's so sweet, goofy, funny, and the smartest kid cookie I know! We love him so so much!

We'll be spending most of the day with my brother's little family & after our feast there'll be more family to join us for dessert! I think we'll have about 18 people total. Not too big not too small 👌🏻

I have been cooking & filming since about 10am! Meal prep, freezer meals, etc that type of thing, you guys know.
This is not for Thanksgiving though! Luckily we only have to make 1 dish & bring some pumpkin pie 🎃

Yesterday we celebrated Connor's 9th birthday! (His actual bday is next Sunday the 28th)
He chose to have a Fortnite theme 🦙🗯🔫🎈We had a good time with friends and family 🥰

Matt surprised us by secretly giving all the kids mini poppers and he got a huge confetti cannon for himself!
I had no idea until he blasted it right next to my head after Connor blew out his candles! There was confetti EVERYWHERE!

It was a mess but it was a BLAST 😆

We're getting ready for Connor's birthday party this weekend and part of that includes cleaning! Of course 😉

The air vent covers in the kitchen, dining & living room were so gross! I honestly don't think the people that lived here before us ever cleaned them 🤢 The pictures I've included are just from the kitchen because it was the worst. It had dirt, dust and grease on it! I had previously tried to use a dry swiffer to clean it, but that did nothing 😂☹

I had to bust out my degreaser! That crap was stuck on there. We took the vent down, sprayed it & let it sit in the sink for 5 minutes then wiped it off (with just a tiny bit of elbow grease 💪🏻). Now it looks brand new! 😁

When was the last time you cleaned your vent covers!?

Here's your friendly reminder to take those carseats out! 🤢

Wash the cover in the washing machine and deep clean underneath! I put some water and Method multipurpose cleaner in there and let it soak for about 1.5 hours. I used a bottle brush to scrub those tiny nooks then wiped it out with a towel.
I feel much better about Beau's cars eat now 😆🤦🏼‍♀️

Happy Saturday guys!

I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend so far. The kids & I went to the park, Sam's Club for OxiClean, Chick fil a for lunch then stopped at Fry's for gas. I've been making it routine now to get out of the house so Matt can sleep on Saturdays

BUT, I wanted to share these pictures with you of my kitchen faucet! 🚰 It was so disgusting & it's been bugging me since we moved in. I put vinegar in a ziplock baggie and wrapped it around the faucet head. I let it sit for about 6 hours then I lightly scrubbed, rinsed it off and VOILA! It looks brand new again 🥰 So simple yet effective!

It's my birthday! ♏ 31 years young 💋

We went out to dinner last night with some of my wonderful friends & family and I got spoiled! I honestly don't feel worthy of their love and support 🥺
I've considered new curtains, the shoe rack, and other new house items my gifts over the last few weeks! One of the ways you know you're an adult is getting excited about things like that! Am I right?!
I'm loving life right now 💞 Today I'm working & doing my normal wife/mom duties because life never stops, but I feel so blessed 🥰
(& that real life mess? we'll just overlook it, mmmkay!?)

🪞Our tiny entryway has a nice, large, pretty shoe rack from , a plush, neutral, beautiful rug from & a cute, rustic mirror from .

🧹My stove has an adorable, small, white pumpkin that says "TRICK OR TREAT" and a dainty, cute, hand towel that says "IT'S JUST A BUNCH OF HOCUS POCUS"

🎃The kitchen sink has a plant from my mom, a tiny, adorable jar from filled with fresh, orange plinks from . The other side has a big, white stoneware tray from holding aromatic, dush soap from , a blue sponge, and a pumpkin shaped hand soap dispenser.

Do you decorate for Halloween? Are you someone to do minimal decorating or go all out?! 🧡 This year I went extremely minimal because we had just moved, unpacked, our schedule was hectic and I couldn't even get to my decoration bins in the garage for almost 3 weeks!
We organized the garage a few days ago so I pulled out this cute little sign and black cat soap dispenser for the kid's bathroom. Simple 🎃 Cute 🐈‍⬛
