Today marks the start of National Careers Week, a week long event promoting the importance of good career education in schools and colleges. Sully landed a plane on the Hudson River in NYC, Microsoft launched Windows 7 and for a brief moment we all though they were going to start caring about sequential numbering, and Avatar ran wild at the box office. But did you know that today back in 2009 Welsh Singer Duffy cleaned up at the Brit Awards taking home 3 Trophies. Best British Female Solo Artist, Best New Artist and Best British Album for her debut album Rockferry.

Want to know more about what is?

Well right now we’re a small social forum based here on Facebook asking you to share with us your love of music, new and old, of any genre. We simply want to open the floor for music talk and discussion, maybe you’ll find your next favourite band.

But going forward, we want to create a social hub for all things music. From discussions, to recommendations, round-ups, facts and trivia, plus anything else our followers would like to see.
