Oil was not changed for a long time. Nalimutan ung last time na nagpalit sila ng filter and oil. Purchased the oil and oil filter in Lazada
Change oil Procedure:
1. Check the required oil and oil filter compatible to your engine.
2. Buy oil and filter in any auto supply stores. For my unit, 8 liters of ISUZU 15W-40 was used. As for the filter, Vic C-254 was used.
3. Prepare empty plastic bottles for the drain oil and prepare a funnel during filling of new oil. i used a 1.5L coke bottle as funnel. Hehehehe.
4. Locate the drain plug of your engine.
5. Slowly loosen the drain plug using a 19 size spanner. The plug was too tight and had a difficult time,removing it. . This was renewed with a new plug bought from a nearby auto supply store as the head part was damaged during removal.
6. Drain the old oil fully.
7. Remove the oil filter. You need a special tool to remove it.
8. Once the oil is fully drained, flush the engine with a new oil. i just used few ml of oil, mahal kc ung oil sayang. hahaha.
9. After flushing, put the new drain plug in place.
10. Fill the oil filter with new oil prior installing it.
11. Install the new oil filter with oil in place. Make sure you tightened it properly.
12. Fill the engine with new oil using a funnel or a funnel you made out of plastic.
13. Close the fillimg point cap properly.
14. Test the engine and check for any leaks.
