Breaking news
A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Dalipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday morning.
Reports said that a joint team of army and SOG launched cordon and search operation in Dalipora area near police station Pulwama following specific information about the presence of some militants in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the militants opened fire triggering an encounter.
When reports last came in the exchange of firing was going on.

Awami Confrence Welcomes goodwill gesture of India-Pak:

Srinagar, May 15 :
Jammu & Kashmir Awami Conference Youth General secretary UMER GUL welcome the goodwill gesture by India and Pakistan to release prisoners from their respective jails and called for use of such measures as permanent feature of relations between the two countries.
Thirteen Pakistani nationals, including four fishermen, were repatriated to Pakistan on Tuesday through the Attari-Wagah border.
Last month, Pakistan released 55 Indian fishermen and five civilians as a “goodwill gesture”.
“ we wish both the countries will stop firing at LOC, as common kashmiris are dying daily on border area from both sides.
GOVT should also resume LOC trade as confidence measure.
We kashmiris are well wishers of both the countries.

جموں و کشمیر عوامی کانفرنس کی جانب سے آج ضلع پلوامہ کے اونتی پورہ میں ایک روزہ یوتھ کنوینشن پروگرآم منعقد کیا گیا۔جس میں قصبہ اونتی پورہ اور پانپور سے نوجوانوں نے شرکت کی۔یہ پروگرآم عوآمی کانفرنس پرزڈنٹ ساقب مخدومی کی اس براہی میں منعقد کیا گیا۔اس موقع پر ڈسٹرکٹ پرزڈنٹ سرینگر تابش بخاری اور یوتھ پرزڈنٹ ڈاکٹر اشد بھی پروگرآم کا حصہ رہے۔پروگرآم کے دورآن عمر گل کو ضلع پلوامہ کے لۓ ڈسٹرکٹ پرزڈنٹ منتخب کیا گیا۔پوگرآم کے بعد عوآمی کانفرنس کے پرزڈنٹ ساقب مخدومی نے کہا کہ ان کی جماعت نوجوانوں کے تحفظ اور تعمیر و ترقی کے لۓ کام کرنا چاہتی ہے۔انہوں نے مزید کہاکہ ان کی جماعت بےروزگار نوجوانوں کے لۓ روزگار کے وساٸیل پیداکرنا چاہتی ہے تاکہ نوجوان ایک خوشحال زندگی بسر کر سکھیں۔
