My bestie/sis made it to Essence. She is truly living out her dreams. She is such an inspiration to me. Love you going pick up mines today!!! Y’all go check it out in the new Essence. Her writings and hard work is going unnoticed!!! We love you!!!

Yesterday this homeless woman walked up to me out of everyone and she said could I please help her. She didn’t ask for money or food. She asked to help her with a place to sleep she was stranded. It took me about 30 minutes to figure how could I help. On a Friday morning I found her an overnight shelter and someone for the next three days. She said I just want some help. I told her let’s just get through the night first. Day by day. I hugged her and I got the number to check in on her. Anyone can be in her shoes after hearing her story. Then today someone stole my wallet the day before my trip (out the country) when u do God’s work things will get taken from you , but the restoration will be greater than anything you could imagine. My husband said let’s thank god that it wasn’t at gun point and it restored my thinking. Be grateful not greedy!! (Book of Job)

Look who’s the big 4. Thank you God for giving another shot at motherhood. I learned how to do pretty much everything over with you. U keep everybody on they toes in this house. We are so thankful for you. Happy birthday Lainey!! We love you!!!

One thing I will do is DIY some costumes for these chirren. Our youngest is Sam I Am today for Being in a creative space and creating things has always been my thing. When I became a mom I started making things for my oldest and it grew. I watched my mom do it for me when there was no hobby lobby. Lol we use to attend arts and craft shows growing up and that’s how she got her materials. Thankful for the foundation. If I could show all the things I’ve built or created 😄 😍

My baby been talking about LSU since she could talk. I said baby Southern right up the street, she said mama I got this. One thing I teach my baby about college is that 1. It’s not for everyone 2. If you don’t go it doesn’t mean you are less then anyone. 3. You create your own success. 4. Don’t let others/outside dictate to you about what college and what they feel@you should do 5. If you don’t like it don’t do it I will support whatever. I think as parents we live through our children because of what we want not what they want. If you zoom u can see what she passionate about. College day at her school. Im proud she’s a really really good kid. She’s definitely been here before. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to the women in my life Grandma Joiner, my grandmother, my mother, and my Mrs Lula(MIL) A lot time we celebrate the ones here physically but on today I want to honor my mother-in-law. I feel her presence. She and my grandma are smiling. To the children who don’t have their mothers here. We honor those as well. To all the moms, godmothers, grandmothers, aunts, Friends.
