Once a thriving village nestled in the heart of nature, Ferengba was a place of abundance and opportunity. Its fertile lands offered the promise of bountiful farming, while the presence of valuable minerals beneath its soil provided the potential for non-industrial mining. Life in Ferengba was once defined by the rewards of hard work and self-sufficiency.
However, the arrival of large-scale mining companies quickly transformed this idyllic haven into a landscape of despair and destitution. The allure of financial gain blinded the authorities to the irreversible damage they were inflicting upon this once-thriving community. With little regard for the local populace or their ancestral homes, the mining companies swooped in, leaving behind nothing but destruction and sorrow.
The steady hum of machinery replaced the harmonious sounds of nature. Vibrant fields, once teeming with life, were decimated to make way for colossal mining operations. The hills, once adorned with lush greenery, now lay barren and devoid of all life. The destruction of the village's agricultural sector meant that the people's once fertile source of sustenance had been cruelly taken away. It seemed that even the earth had turned its back on them.
As the village's farming opportunities withered away, the local residents were left with no choice but to rely on the unreliable wages offered by the mining companies. Living conditions deteriorated rapidly, and poverty engulfed the once prosperous community. Families who had once thrived from the land now struggled to put food on the table. The economic potential that the mining promised had vanished, leaving behind only a trail of broken dreams.
Ferengba's inhabitants, once self-sufficient and proud, now found themselves reduced to beggars in their own hometown. Their former livelihoods had been snatched away, replaced by the empty promises and false hopes perpetuated by the mining companies.

4 Year's ago, Maada Bio and the SLPP-led Government promised to fix the Magburaka to Bendugu road through Mabonto. What happens on the 20th of October 2022 after a fatal road accident resulting in one person's death will shock you. For the past 4 years, too many lives are lost already due to the deplorable conditions of the Magburaka to Bendugu road. Too many dangerous potholes and damaged bridges. Off recent, Member of Parliament for constituency 056, Hon. Jawah Sesay was stopped by the paramount of Sambaia Chiefdom not to embark on a bridge project along the same road between Ninkikoro & Gbenikoro claiming that President Bio has approved our bridges and road but yet nothing to write home about.
