After missing for almost two years, Osiel Rico has been found safe in Mexico!

Police say Osiel was abducted from his home in Roswell, by his non-custodial father, Jorge Ernesto Rico-Ruvira, on January 5, 2020. The child's mother, Isela Mauricio-Sanchez, was found dead at the child's home on January 7, 2020.

My niece, Ansley Abigail Smith, is my muse, my inspiration, and my reminder of what's important. Childhood Cancer deserves so much more attention, concern, and funding. I participate every year in the Saint Jude walk/run in Kansas City, Mo. in honor of Ansley. She was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in April of 2014. She endured more than 7 surgeries and 12 months of aggressive chemo and radiation. When her cancer spread to her spinal fluid and then to her brain there was nothing more Saint Jude could do. She took her last breath July 7th, 2015 at home in her parent's bed and her family's arms. Rest in peace 16-year-old Margaret Fetterolf, who was found deceased in 1976 & has finally been identified after all these years. The investigation into her death continues.

IDENTIFICATION

Baltimore County Police Department announced the identification of 1976 "Woodlawn Jane Doe" as 16-year-old Margaret Fetterolf.

The investigation into her death continues. Anyone that knew Margaret or has information is encouraged to call the Baltimore County detectives at 410-307-2020.

After 45-years she has never been forgotten. Our condolences go out to her family. 💛

"If someone believed Corey the first time he said he was being abused, Corey would be alive today. If someone believed Corey the last time he said he was being abused (which was the night before he died) he would still be alive today. If DCPP brought charges against Chris when they saw the surveillance video of him being abused and he was arrested when they found the video (which was a WEEK before he passed, Corey would be alive today. But, no they decided to not tell me about this video until months after he passed away, they decided that Corey saying he was being abused along with the video PROOF wasn’t enough. Why? Corey didn’t have to die, if people did their jobs! The fact that he’s now being charged with child endangerment for the SAME VIDEO DCPP SAW A WEEK BEFORE COREY PASSED IS SAD….why didn’t you charge him then!!!! Corey wouldn’t have had to see him again if you did that!!! He would be alive if you did that! The day the judge denied my emergency order he literally signed Corey’s death warrant. What a shame."

According to KETV and WOWT, 30-year-old Thomas Alexander, a coach at Metro Stars Gymnastics in Papillion, was booked Wednesday in the Sarpy County Jail on two charges of third-degree sexual assault of a child. He is scheduled to make a court appearance Thursday, the news outlets reported.

Takoda Collins should have and could have been saved. He deserved so much better. 💔 He was treated with extreme cruelty in his home, was r***d, tortured, and eventually was murdered by his own father. Concerns of abuse had been reported 17 times by teachers before he was pulled out of school by his abusers. Concerns of abuse were reported by Takoda's noncustodial mother who lived in another state, but authorities dismissed them all. Another child from the home even ran away but was returned home by police, and was said to have behavior issues. Takoda had also received treatment for injuries at a hospital that didn't even report it to CPS. There was so much opportunity to save him. He was only 10 years old. He was an innocent child. He isn't suffering anymore. Rest in peace, Takoda 💙. The 3 people involved in his death have all recently plead guilty. Sentencing will be September 29. Montgomery county was ordered to pay Takoda's estate a $3.25 million settlement in a lawsuit for their role in his death.

Ramirez was last seen on April 27.

Her last moments were captured on a neighbor's ring doorbell of her leaving her home for school.

UPDATE: Foster Parent Now Indicted On First-Degree Murder Charge In 4-Year-Old’s Death

Saturday marks four months since Karissa Garcia tragically lost her 4-year-old son, James Reese Jr.

“He was very helpful. He loved playing with his siblings. He was a very good kid. He had a bright smile,“ Garcia said.

James’ foster parent, Alex Pino, is accused of killing him. This week, Pino was indicted by a grand jury, upgrading his charges from second-degree to first-degree murder.

“Very hard to understand what happened. Very painful,” said Garcia.

According to investigators, James died from blunt force trauma. James was rushed to the hospital in April, where doctors found his injuries showing a consistent pattern of abuse and several fractures, according to the state.

Records show, James’ other foster parent, Michelle Sipko, knew about the abuse. She is charged with manslaughter and child neglect, according to records.

In the next month, the state will decide if Pino should face the death penalty.

“I don’t want him to do the death penalty. I want him to be in prison for the rest of his life,” said Garcia.

Garcia said now she wants justice for her son.

Pino has pleaded not guilty and is currently being held in Duval County Jail without bond.
