ADVOCACY-BASED LEARNING l

Strengthening the students’ life-skills training and social responsibility, the Caraga National High School ties up with Local Government Unit of Caraga and other community establishments in intensifying the delivery of K to 12 curriculum that relates to the students’ exposure to the ‘real world of work’.

According to Municipal Mayor Alicia B. Mori, the LGU is ready to provide support in all forms to the Department of Education, following the approval to the request for partnership in the Grade 12 students’ Work Immersion Program particularly those under the STEM, GAS and HUMSS strands.

“We are always in support to the endeavors of the Department of Education-Caraga National High School,” said Mori.

Meanwhile, the CNHS also expresses recognition to the Joy FM Radio Station for the ‘meaningful’ and ‘relevant’ exposure provided to the students under the Humanities and Social Sciences strand.

The Grade 12 students under the Technical Vocational Livelihood strand, on the other hand, were deployed in the bake shops and restaurants in Caraga Municipality and Mati City, providing the K to 12 learners with the ‘quality’ hands-on experiences they can use in their future career path.

‘PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE’

In response to the emerging global threat brought about by the effects of Coronavirus (CoV) to the global community, the Caraga National High School under the leadership of School Principal Dr. Marilyn S. Capina along with the School Nurse Evangeline P. Hernaez, conducted massive campaign in taking precautions agains the ‘threatening’ diseases, Wednesday afternoon.

According to Hernaez, such movement is in pursuant to the Department of Education’s memorandum on Project Strategic Health Intervention to Emerging Health Threats thru IEC for Learners and Educators in Davao Region (SHIELD).

Faculty review work, learning performance,
devise interventions

After having reviewed and evaluated the work performance and learners’ achievement in the first semester of the school year, Caraga National High School faculty proposed intervention and enrichment programs to heighten academic standard.

Meanwhile, they also gave attention to rebuilding teamwork as School upholds ‘positive’ relationships among the organization’s family members.

says unity makes a difference

After consistent intensive practices, Caraga National High School championed in Bayle sa Kalye, Likhawitan and Direk ko Ganap Mo in the recently held Division MAPEH Festival of Talents in Lupon, Davao Oriental on October 29,2019.

The School also garnered awards in Pintahusay, Sulatanghal and Sineliksik.
