It was a rough three day adventure that amounts to getting half of the equipment my team needs to start filming our indie projects. We went to Dallas, Texas and back with a crazy teardown and vigorous overnight drive back. I came out way ahead on the gear. Thank you to my drive and teardown crew: Moira Walker and Benjamin Amundson and our unload crew including my son Will and Doug Mattis. Times will soon get more intense with production and progress. We did not violate rule one of our company code! But almost all involved get a bit beat up by the ordeal.

The voice over lines are done, now on to recording some last minute Foley and music.

Got the final cuts done for our first podcast to come out in a few months. It is the prequel for the first season of our Civil War television series. We started with a season prequel in a audio format to generate interest, so I will be asking you all to listen to it when it comes out. It will be on a free platform with ads.

Once again we reached the anniversary of The Battle of The Crater, I had the same breakfast as the soldiers, hardtack, bacon, and pickles with some coffee brewing up now. The map I posted is a Google map I shared before of the positioning of troops after the initial break through and their locations based off of terrain and measurements I made.

Our IP we are developing to help make the Crater Miniseries is continually progressing, production starts soon. More to share, I will keep you posted.

We are doing our casting selections for Miner's March and Vida-Lii this weekend. It's been a long journey. Here is a picture of our writing crew at national park, walking on the Union left staging area for the Battle of the Crater. Another step in our journey soon to be completed.
