If You Die Today, Would You Have Any Regrets? đ
âIf you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of.â â Bruce Lee đ
âMom, I got COVID. Iâm sorry...â
Was all I could say to my mother when the test results came back positive.
We sat on the phone in silence until her shaking voice told me sheâll find a remedy.
At the time, weâve already lost 2 distant relatives to COVID and I was the first one to catch it in my family.
I was bedridden for 10 days. It was the longest 10 days of my life.
On the 6th night, I couldnât sleep. It wasnât because I couldnât or didnât want to sleep.
But because I was afraid. Afraid of not waking up the next morning.
As I laid there with the feeling of my chest drowning in the mattress, tears of fear streamed down my face.
And I asked myself: âAm I dying?â
Not knowing the answer, I knocked out with prayers and hoped my parents would forgive me...
When I came to my senses, it was already morning. I dragged myself to the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and admitted:
I. Fear. Deathâïž
If I were to die today, I would have so many regrets.
I have so much I want to do. So much I want to say, see, and feel. I have so much want out of this life.
If I get another day, what am I going to do with it?
So Iâm going to ask: What are you going to do with the allotted time you got today? âł
What are you doing with your life? Who and what matters to you? And why does it matter? What ACTIONS are you taking to ensure you sleep tonight with no regrets?
Whatever youâre going to do, do it now!
Whoever you wanted to become, BE that person NOW!
Donât know where to start?
Here are 3 things you can do to optimize your time and build yourself a path for the life youâve always wanted to live.
đ·3 To-Dos That Will Dramatically Change Your Lifeđ·
âïž1: Make Your Bed
Have you ever felt like the entire day has gone by and yet, you have done nothing?
Or, youâre defeated by the end of the day but yet, there are so many more things to do. Itâs endless?
Now, itâs time to call it a day and TA-DAH! You came home to a made bed. Yes, YOU did that.
Amid the chaos, you have already made one thing a success.
Make your bed right away in the morning. Itâs a time saver.
And when life comes at you with complications, at least you got one thing done and itâll be there to comfort you until the sun rises the next day.
âïž 2: Meditate
Meditation is a great way to do a mental health check on yourself.
Youâll uncover answers to questions youâve ignored throughout the day or even years.
When was the last time youâve asked yourself if YOU were okay?
Meditation also enables you to find forgiveness.
Forgiveness is powerful because itâs an action that allows you to mentally close those chapters of hurt, betrayal, grief, etc., and to start anew.
Donât know where to start? Or donât have the time?
Hereâs a solution for YOU.
Simply start with a guided meditation from Youtube while you sleep. YEP! While sleeping, you can reprogram your unconscious mind.
âïž 3: Get A Mentor
Want to improve your health, business, sport, or hobby?
Find a mentor (coach) who has already done what you want to achieve. Mentors are great at paving the way and helping you avoid the same obstacles they have faced.
With a good mentor, youâll be on the fastest track to finding the best version of yourself.
I know what you may be thinking...you donât need one.
Are you too good for one? Or, are you the wisest thing walking around?
Iâm just asking...
NEWS for YOU: I thought I was the wisest, smartest, and sweetest s**t in town too! Then, I found out my neighbor thought heâs the wisest thing who ever walked this block. Sadly, he isnât. One look at him and youâll see heâs just full of himself⊠Was I - did I look like that?...?! đŹ
Really, donât sell yourself short due to ego.
Donât be like that neighbor, colleague, friend, family member, or darn cat who thinks they donât need help.
The best humans are those who learn from othersâ mistakes; not their own.
Too many times, Iâve seen smart people fall short of their goals because of their egos.
Once youâre willing to accept help, your recovery and goals will become more obtainable.
Where to find one...
Look online on platforms such as Youtube or Instagram.
Simply search up videos of your interests and reach out to those who inspire you.
Follow (YES! Follow, like, subscribe, join, etc. Psst..itâs free!) their social media accounts.
Message them and become an active part of their news feed. Most often, youâll find coaches selling their courses online.
Donât be afraid to book a call. Donât be afraid to work on yourself.
A part of living is finding those who you can jive with. And trust me, youâll be happy youâve reached out.
With everything that has happened in 2020, I now know I am worth every second that was given by His grace. You are too. đ
2021 is already more than halfway over. I am going to continue valuing life with the best resources out there: the internet. đ»
With no more regrets and no turning back, how will you make the rest of 2021 worth living forâ
